THE VERDICT:

My eyeshadow palettes are currently on hiatus because my schedule's pretty hectic nowadays: I have meetings with my boss and her team almost every single day, and do online marketing from Monday to Saturday to boot. (Yes people, you've read it right. I finally have a job. :)) Suffice to say, I can't afford to spend too much time doing my makeup anymore.

But of course, being the beauty blogger that I am, I can't afford not to look my best whenever I'm meeting up with my boss, her team, and some potential business partners. Good thing I have Bobbi Brown's Long-Wear eyeshadow: It's a quick and easy way to look polished. In fact, I can even apply it on my lids while I'm stuck in traffic!

It comes in a sturdy glass jar with a glossy black cap. It's part of Bobbi Brown's new Long-Wear Eye Collection. Glass is pretty compact, although a bit heavy.

The shade I have is Heather, a muted lilac shade. It looks dark on the pan, but it goes on light when applied. It just gives your lids a beautiful touch of color. Coverage is light to medium--I find that it's not as pigmented as Bobbi Brown's traditional eyeshadows. I actually see the point because its moderate pigmentation makes it easier and quicker to use as compared to pigmented eyeshadows.

It can be worn alone or in conjunction with other Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream eyeshadows. It can also be a good base to intensify Violet/Lilac/Purple eyeshadows.

The Long- Wear cream eyeshadows have an emollient texture and whipped, silicone- like consistency. It dries off to a matte finish. It stays put for more than 5 hours on me even without the help of an eye primer! (For reference, I have very oily lids) It fades for just a teeny weeny bit around day's end, but it's absolutely fine with me. For people with normal skin around the lids, staying power could be better.

Here is Heather on me. Pretty, isn't it? I only use my fingers to apply this one. It blends easily too! It's so foolproof that you can use it even without the help of a mirror.

Regarding any con, well, I can't think of any con because there isn't any! The price, perhaps?

I'm so happy Bobbi Brown came out with this marvelous product. It's a modern gal's dream come true! It's expensive, I know. But the time you'll save if you'll use this product? Priceless.
