Laura Mercier Holiday and Fall Collections 2012: The Launch

You all know how much I love everything about the 1920’s. (I guess I don’t have to muse about this love for the nth time) So you could pretty much imagine how giddy I was when Laura Mercier Philippines and Rustan's invited me to a 1920’s inspired party to launch the brand’s Holiday and Fall collections for 2012. Everybody was clad in their 1920’s outfit: flirty flappers, elaborate hats, oxford, brogues, structured tuxedos, and smokey makeup+vampy lipstick! It felt like I was transported to another time and place!

Anyway, it was a full- blown press launch for Laura Mercier’s newest collections: Cinema Noir, Crème Smooth Lip Color, Ambre Vanilla Bath and Body Line, and the brand spankin’ Tinted Moisturizer Crème Compact. (Yes! It has finally happened!)

 The event was also graced by the quirky and funny Jeffrey Tasker, International Makeup Artist for Laura Mercier.

We ended the program with a toast: Cheers to everybody for being so game by coming in their vintage outfits, and cheers to Laura Mercier for coming up with fabulous products--always! Prive (the venue for the launch) also made a special drink for the guests called ‘Vanilla Sky’, inspired by the Ambre Vanilla Bath and Body Line.
