LOTD: Above everything else, you should be Classy

A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous.
- Coco Chanel

Dress: Zara

Much of my fashion choices are inspired by Chanel. I grew up adoring her style through my mother, who's a Chanel fan herself. She once told me that if the world ends and I could only bring one piece of clothing with me, I should go for the statement dress such as this white A-Line jersey dress from Zara. I never really understood why, but I've come to realize it now: The essence of being a woman is CLASS. And this is what most fashionable people lack today.

Necklace: Aldo Accessories

Pumps: Brash from Payless

It's okay to set a trend, or to follow it wholeheartedly but never ever forego CLASS--You must nurture it and make it the foundation of your style for it brings forth the beauty of your femininity. Never be afraid to look simple in a color- blocked, excessorized, and neon-ized world. Don't listen to people who tell you that your look is so long ago. For at the end of the day, the only things that matter are those that make a STATEMENT. So what makes something a 'statement'? For me, it's not all about the fanciness and flashiness of clothes and accessories--it's about the fashion pieces that the world will always remember.
