THE VERDICT:

Climate affects a person's fragrance preference. Generally, the Philippines has a warm climate, that's why a majority of Filipinos prefer light, airy scents, particularly those from the fruity or fruity-floral mix. Geographic location also plays a factor: the Philippines is surrounded by water and considered as a tropical country, and this also explains why we love zesty, aquatic fragrances--fragrances that remind us of the waters that help us cool down when the weather is scorching hot and humid. However, most of these fragrances are just too plain and casual to be used on special occasions, let alone for night time use.

This is what I love about Bvlgari's new Omnia Coral. It's a light, fruity-floral fragrance that can be worn from day to night. It's not like common fruity floral perfumes that smell flat and too sporty. Click READ MORE for my detailed review.

Omnia Coral opens up to a fresh accord bursting with Goji Berries and Pomegranate. Then the heart notes start enveloping the top notes in a delicate amalgam of aquatic flowers, Hibiscus and Water Lily. It starts off pretty fresh and light, and it puts me in a joyous mood. Finally, the base notes composed of Cedar and Musk give it a warm, feminine appeal. It reminds me of glorious summer days and romantic summer nights at the same time. I also love how it compliments my happy-go-lucky slash ultra girly personality!

Staying power is pretty good for an EDT: It lasts up to 6 hours on me. Filipinas will absolutely love this fragrance because its warm notes are not too opulent and cloying. It's fresh, (which makes it perfect for our climate) yet it stays warm and feminine. In my opinion, it's one of the best fragrances from the Omnia line. And the Coral bottle is absolutely gorgeous! I'm sure every Filipina will love this as much as I do!

  3. The bottle is love! I've never own any bvlgari perfume but my BF has and I love it most especially its staying power. It lasts to him the whole day even if he just sprays 2-3x onto his shirt. I bet you have a huge collection of your perfumes. Hope you can post Ms. M your recent perfume collection! :D

  9. The Bulgari Omnia series has always had a special place in my heart. I remember my Mum giving me a bottle of Omnia Green Jade and a sampler of Amethyste. I so loved the ladylike smell.

Based on your description, looks like I'd have a new favourite Omnia scent. I've always liked fresh, light scents and this seems perfect.
