THE VERDICT:

Every summer, I always look for cooling beauty products around, most especially for the hair. I have long hair and it sometimes make me sweat, and cooling hair products somehow alleviate all that icky feeling. For shampoos, I always look forward to Sunsilk's summer edition Watermelon Cooling shampoo. (Have you guys tried this? I'm pretty sure you all did, or you're all familiar with it, at the very least!)--I wished for it to have a conditioner counterpart for a super cool feeling all the way, but alas, it doesn't have any. Looks like Hair Heroes' Super Fresh conditioner has heard my woes! Here she comes to the rescue!

Super Fresh is the fifth variant from Snoe's esteemed Hair Heroes line. It is specifically formulated to target dry, itchy, flaky scalp, and it claims to even treat hair conditions such as Psoriasis. The super ingredients of this conditioner are as follows:

Sage Oil- Boosts hair growth; thickens, strengthens, and revitalizes hair; soaks up excess oil on the scalp; promotes hair growth
Australian Tea Tree- unblocks clogged hair follicles to minimize scalp acne; antibacterial; remedies dandruff, scaling, and itchiness
Peppermint- Helps balance oil on the scalp; promotes hair growth; refreshes scalp
Hexamidine- A potent antimicrobial ingredient that helps minimize dandruff, scalp acne, and irritation

SNOE HAIR HEROES SUPER FRESH IN DETAIL

It has the same consistency and texture as the other Hair Heroes variants, except that this one has a fruity peppermint scent that is so, so invigorating. It yields a non-sting, cooling effect to the scalp. However, I don't use this product on my oily scalp during daytime as it might react to the ultra thick consistency of the conditioner--I just massage it gently on the bottom part of my scalp-the part where I usually get sweaty-to somehow get a sense of the cooling feeling. I only use it on my scalp during night time baths--it sort of acts like a nightly treatment to regulate all that oil on my head. I've used this product every night for one week and I've noticed that I got less oily hair during mornings, and controlled oil on my scalp for the entire day. I also love how its cooling sensation would somehow lessen that irritating feeling when your hair becomes sweaty, it doesn't weigh hair down despite its rich texture, and it keeps hair tangle- free and smelling fresh all throughout the day!

Man, I am seriously in love with Snoe's Hair Heroes. They're not only cute, but also unique in their own right. I recommend Super Fresh to those with dry scalp and who are suffering from dandruff because you guys will benefit from its ingredients and emollient consistency, but if you have Psoriasis, I would still recommend that you seek medical advice. For girls with oily scalp, it will work as a nightly treatment and a conditioner for the mid-section of your hair. If you are blessed with a normal scalp, its cooling sensation will help you beat that summer heat!

  1. I've been hearing a lot of buzz about Snoe products lately, especially because one of their giveaways just ended recently. I don't have any Snoe product yet but since early this year I've wanted to try one of their shampoos. Thanks for this post Ms M!

  3. Cooling shampoo?? I've never heard of that, but that's sounds awesome. I don't live in such a warm climate, but on hot days, long hair really gets on my nerves.

  4. Thanks Miz Eloise for sharing. Na-curious ako bigla sa Intense Argan and Invisible Wonder. Thanks for warning too. I'm ok with almost any kind of scent or consistency basta wag lang ma-aggravate ang falling hair. I'll finish my 2 shampoos first that I alternate before I buy a Snoe hair product.

  6. Snoe! how I wish I can try their products too, especially their hair care products and cosmetics. Kaya lang sometimes I hate shopping online because we still have to pay for the shipping fee. I think they have a branch here in Cebu but it's soooooo far from our house. I'm torn between visiting the branch or just shop online para less hassle. LOL! :)

Well anyways, I really have a big problem with my hair, kasi very prone to hair fall. It's like crazy! I'm got so worried na that it came to a point when I almost go to the hospital and have a check up :| But I can't find time kase sa sobrang busy even if it's summer. We don't have summer break and we still have to go to school to work. :|

So much blabbering Desire! Hmm I just want to ask Ms. M what hair product can you recommend to me that suits le budget? Right now I apply castor oil to my scalp every night. My hair problem minimized but just a tiny little bit. I hope Snoe got a product for me. haha thanks in advance, Ms M! ♥

  15. If ever this will be my first time to use a tea tree + peppermint shampoo haha, anlamig siguro nyan sa scalp, very refreshing lang and bagay talaga this summer. Naisip ko tuloy bigla yung Sunsilk watermelon sooobrang fave ko yun dati kahit di summer may stock ako nun and yun ginagamit ko, too bad wala na ngayon.
You can also try Head & Shoulders in Apple green, cool din ang feeling ng scalp ko whenever I use that pero nagda-dry hair ko dun so I use it once a week lang parang anti dandruff maintenance ko lang:)
