THE VERDICT:

Hi everyone! I hope you're all having a wonderful vacation. It's Good Friday-how are you all doing with your spiritual reflections?

Just a quick post before I do Visita Iglesia with my mother. I just finished using this facial cleanser with a thesis title- like name from Snoe. (lol) Sorry if I haven't been posting much about skin care products as I've decided to finish everything I have one by one-that way, I'd truly know how they've affected my skin.

Anyway, this product is from Snoe's Shoo-Zit Don't Bother Me skin care line.

SNOE WASH AWAY THOSE ZITS DEEP CLEANSING ACNE WASH IN DETAIL

It contains the same actives as Shoo Zit Don't Bother Me Spot On Spot Off Acne Fading Maintenance Gel. (Purefix-DC, Crown Wood Fern, and Purewhite) What I like about this product is its Sulfate- Free formulation, hence it won't dry up the skin.

Comes in an easy to use bottle with a controllable pump. One bottle, if used twice a day and if you take an average of 2-3 squirts per usage, may last you for around 2-3 months. If you want it to last longer, use it along with a face loofah or Konjac sponge.

SNOE WASH AWAY THOSE ZITS DEEP CLEANSING ACNE WASH IN DETAIL

It is a low- foam, clear gel-liquid (No colorants. Love it!) with a faint floral smell. It doesn't lather up so much, but it still leaves skin feeling clean and fresh after every wash. What I like about it is it takes away excess oil whilst making my skin feel soft and smooth, never tight and dry. I've noticed that it has minimized the appearance of new zits on my skin, albeit it can't heal any existing ones. Overall, it's a good basic freshening facial cleanser  that may help manage zits for people with combination to oily skin, but I wish it had better zit- eliminating powers. That, or maybe my skin is not really responsive to Crownwood Fern or Purefix-DC.

  2. Snoe always stands out with fun names for their products. I haven't tried any Snoe product yet but I think this Cleansing Acne wash is suitable for me because I really don't have any persistent acne at the moment so this would be perfect for everyday use. Thanks for this post Ms M! You're still hard at work during the holidays. I wish everyone a meditation-filled holy week.

  5. Hi Miss Martha! Acne has also been a problem for me since I was 12 years old. Your blog helps me a lot with the questions I have in mind, also I get to check out a product even before I buy it. So expect to hear more from me, I'm already an avid fan! ;)

  6. Hey Miss Martha!
Just like you, I'm a girl plagued with acne since I was probably 12. Life has been hard going through the teenage years and I'm turning 19 now, I hope I found your blog earlier though. Just wanted to say that your reviews are uh-mazin'! and I would definitely turn to you for my skin care dilemmas. More power to you and your blog. ;)

  7. It's sulfate free so won't dry up the skin! is that a guarantee? Oily kasi type ng skin ko so okay lang sakin mag dry ng konti pero medyo hesitant ako gumamit ng Snoe products kasi siguro di naman sya masyado known sa market diba, I do my groceries at Savemore and parang wala namang Snoe pa. If it doesn't lather up so much, and yung gel liquid form sya then this reminds me of Celeteque.
Right now, I have no pimples, kaka fade away lang hehe siguro dahil katatapos lang ng mens ko, do you suggest that I still continue using anti acne facial wash like this for maintenance?

  8. Eloise: Crownwood fern is native to Korea, and it's used as an antibacterial agent and proven effective to treat acne. Actually, korean brands came out first with Crownwood fern- infused products before snoe. Regarding purefix-dc, nope, no info on that yet. Yes I have the toner. will use that once I finish kiehl's and elizabeth arden. :)

Josie: Regarding the sulfate- free statement I wrote, it is a known fact that sulfate- free products are less likely to dry up the skin but of course, it still depends on your skin's reaction. Just take my review with a grain of salt. :) Regarding your question, yes, you may for maintenance, especially if you have hormonal acne. If it's just acne caused by menstruation, you can shift to non-comedogenic facial cleansers after your period to give your skin a break from all that acids and acne combatants. Hope this helps! :)

Jill: Hi there and welcome to TBJ! :) Happy to have a new reader too! :) Just let me know if you have any questions. I'll gladly answer them for 'ya! :)

Detsy: Actually, if you have acne- prone skin, it's okay to use salicylic acid- laden products from your wash to moisturizer to continually treat acne so yes, I think this should be good. But make sure to moisturize and exfoliate to get rid of the peeling caused by Salicylic acid. :)

    Hazel: Go ahead! :D

Kris: No rest for me! :D Yep, this is just a good, mild everyday wash. Have a great holy week too! :)
