The Oily Bible: Makeup (Part 3)

And so our Oily Bible comes to an end. For the last chapter, here's a list of my favorite oily skin- friendly products:

PRIMERS

URBAN DECAY PRIMER POTION

Got oily lids? This heavy duty, industrious primer will keep eyeshadows intact and colors vibrant even on the oiliest of eyelids.

SHU UEMURA PORERASER UV UNDERBASE

Acts like 'glue' for makeups: Helps keep colors of foundation and powder vibrant and true from sun up to sun down, and magically minimizes pores with its ultra light, hydrating formula.

CONCEALER

MAKE UP FACTORY LIGHT REFLECTING CONCEALER (Around P800.00)

A light and fast- absorbing concealer that dries to a matte finish.

MAC PROLONGWEAR CONCEALER (P1,000.00)

This professional- grade concealer resists caking, streaking, and fading even on very oily skin.

FOUNDATION

BOBBI BROWN SKIN FOUNDATION (P2,450.00)

A very light, soothing, and hydrating oil- free foundation that nourishes and doesn't clog skin.

BOBBI BROWN LONG-WEAR EVEN FINISH FOUNDATION (P2,650.00)

Looking for a full- coverage foundation that does not feel heavy, thick, and doesn't induce oil production? This is it!

FAIRY DROPS CANDY BAR BB CREAM (Around P1,500.00+)

A light, waterproof, sweatproof, and oil- proof BB Cream that yields medium coverage and tons of skin benefits.

POWDER

BEN NYE COLORLESS FACE POWDER (P350.00+)

One of our favorites in the theatre! This all- around sheer setting powder for the face and body was designed to resist oil and sweat for a perfect, undisturbed performance!

SNOE POUDRE PHENOMENON PORE ERASING HD POWDER (P899.00)

A very affordable dupe of Make Up For Ever's HD Powder. It contains one of the most powerful oil- absorbers, Silica.

PALGANTONG THEATRICAL POWDER (Starts at P600.00)

A tinted loose setting powder that helps unify the complexion. It has that perfect creamy-dry texture that helps give you a soft look while keeping you oil- free at the same time.

KRYOLAN TRANSLUCENT POWDER (Around P1,000.00+)

Another of our favorite brands in the theatre! Kryolan's Translucent powder's pigmented, dry yet comfortable texture guarantees complete coverage and oil- free skin for hours!

BOBBI BROWN RETOUCHING POWDER (P3,200.00)

Blots oil without the heaviness and extra coverage, and comes in corrective colors to hide skin discolorations.

ESSENCE FIX & MATTE! TRANSLUCENT POWDER (P239.00)

This drugstore gem is one of the true translucent powders in the market: Does not leave any tinge of white cast, sets foundation without altering its shade, and insanely keeps skin matte for hours!

MAC BLOT POWDER (Around P1,300.00+)

One of the most famous blotting powders. It gets rid of oil fast and requires minimal blending to get a flawless finish.

THE BALM SEXY MAMA ANTI-SHINE TRANSLUCENT POWDER (Around P700.00+)

An effective, affordable, and compact blotting powder with cornstarch, a naturally derived oil absorber.

ESTEE LAUDER INVISIBLE POWDER (P2,200.00)

There are some liquid bases that really fade on oily skin no matter what you do with them, and this powder recharges makeup coverage without that dratted heaviness at all-it feels light and looks light!

SHISEIDO SHEER MATIFYING COMPACT (P1,850.00)

Almost all powder foundations don't have excellent oil control, except this one. If you prefer the ease of powder foundation, Shiseido's Sheer Matifying is definitely worth considering!

EYES

REVLON COLORSTAY CRAYON PENCIL (P380.00)

Another great drugstore find of mine. Colorstay is one of the best drugstore lines, I must say, because the products stay true to its claim. If you like pencil eyeliners but wish they have awesome staying power, you should try this!

TONY MOLY BACKSTAGE SELF-SMOKY EYE COLLECTION (Around P900.00+)

Surprisingly, Tony Moly's Backstage eyeliner has very good staying power. It's a bargain set because it includes two wearable eyeshadows and a gel liner applicator in the package too!

K-PALETTE REAL LASTING EYELINER (P895.00)

My most favorite liquid eyeliner to date. It literally stays true to its REAL LASTING promise!

BOBBI BROWN LONG-WEAR CREAM EYESHADOW

Are you dreading the entire procedure of applying powder eyeshadows, not to mention buying a separate primer to make them stay on oily lids? Opt for cream eyeshadow, but not just an ordinary cream eyeshadow-go for Bobbi''s Long-Wear Cream Eyeshadow, which virtually stays streak- free for hours even without any eye primer on.

FAIRY DROPS VOLUME BURST MASCARA (P899.00)

A volumizing and lengthening mascara that stays put no matter what. Resists smudging on oily lids and has essences that help condition lashes.

MAJOLICA MAJORCA LASH KING MASCARA (P795.00)

An all-in-one lengthening, volumizing, and curling waterproof mascara that does not budge!

That concludes our Oily Bible! I hope you have enjoyed this topic! Please let me know if you still have questions! :)
