THE VERDICT:

In the advent of Cookie Butters, I'm reviewing something related to it (and it's non-fat too!) and they're the new shades of Revlon's best- selling Lip Butters-they're part of the Pacific Coast collection. I already wrote an in- depth review on this product (along with tons of swatches too) so please click HERE for that.

Behold the new Revlon Lip Butter shades after the cut!

Juicy Papaya- A pale coral shade

Oh, what a universally flattering light coral hue, the perfect go- to shade if you still have that summer hangover. At first, I thought it would wash me out or look too sheer on me, but it turned out quite gorgeously on my warm skin tone. On the other hand, this color looks a lil' deeper and tad bit orange on fair to alabaster skin tones. Juicy Papaya works two ways: Apply one or two layers to enhance your natural lip color, or layer for about four to five times for a fuller look.

Pink Lemonade- A mellow pastel pink

To me, it's more of a marshmallow pink color than pink lemonade. Among all the new shades, this is the one that has the sheerest pigmentation. Nevertheless, it's a very pretty color and a very wearable pastel pink hue-just make sure to exfoliate your lips because Pink Lemonade can emphasize dryness!

Wild Watermelon- a vivid watermelon red shade

A beautiful, juicy tropical red shade. Here's a tip: Layer on this color  twice to get a just- bitten look!

Sorbet- a raspberry pink shade

Sorbet is my most favorite among the four just because I don't have anything like it in my collection. It's hot pink borderline fuchsia, and it's the kind of shocking pink that still allows you to look casual, never too made up or overly dramatic.

I am very impressed with the new Lip Butter shades, and I won't leave out anything if ever somebody asks me to choose the best colors. The sad part is, these are limited edition shades so my advice, run to a Revlon counter now and grab the shade/s that tickle your fancy-or better yet, grab everything!

Let me know your picks! :)

  6. I was really disappointed with the Revlon Color Stay Ultimate Suede since it was so difficult to apply. Can you tell me - is this one moisturizing and how is it different from the color stay one? Thanks!!

  8. Becomingsleek: You're welcome! :)

Shayne: Welcome! :) Wild Watermelon is my 2nd fave. :)

Anonymous: Hi there! Great question. Revlon's lip butters are very, very moisturizing and they're a far cry from Colorstay Ultimate Suede's dragging, matte formula, hence it's much easier to apply. You might want to check out this one if you want something that's more tolerable and easier to use. :)

    BrownOso: Yes! It is! :)

Rhaindropz: Welcome dear! And thanks for blogging about our meet and greet-I appreciate it! :)

    CJ: Welcome dear! :)

Beauty By Tellie: I could imagine that it would look nice on your fair skin. :)

  10. I'd be so sad if they discontinue this line. Revlon Lip Butters are my go-to for when I don't want to over-think lipstick and I need a whole lot of hydration. They work amazingly in cold weather, too.
