THE VERDICT:

If you're looking for the nicest, affordable BB Cream in the market, I've got one word for you: POND'S.

To be honest, I only liked this product in the beginning because texture is very nice, but the shade was too off for me. When they have released Beige, I finally loved it because I got to enjoy it without worrying that I'll look like a Pantomimist or something.

POND'S FLAWLESS WHITE BB+ CREAM IN BEIGE IN DETAIL

Just like the Flawless White Skincare range, this BB Cream was formulated to whiten skin with the Gen-Activ formula-it claims to whiten in 7 Days. It also contains Super Optics to give skin that lit-from-within glow and SPF 30 PA+++.

Ingredients

It only comes in one size. I don't know if it's just me, but I feel that there isn't a lot of BB Cream inside the tube.

More about this super light, super fresh, and long-wearing BB+ Cream!

Beige is a light beige shade with heavy yellow undertones. Texture is creamy yet light, formula is unscented, coverage is light, and finish is semi-matte with a hint of dew. It sinks in quite fast, although feels a tad bit sticky at first until you set it with powder. Since it has a semi-matte finish, you won't get patchy powder application on top of it.

POND'S FLAWLESS WHITE BB+ CREAM IN ACTION

This product first came in a shade called Light, and it's a pale beige shade with a heavy pink undertone. It looks completely off for my skin tone, and the white cast was enhanced even more by the pink undertone. I did notice though that this shade had a more matte finish than the recent one.

Now I'm trying out the Beige one. Here's me with Estēe Lauder Double Wear Concealer on my marks and ZA Perfect Fit Concealer on my under eyes.

Two layers of Pond's Flawless White BB+ Cream

Well it doesn't really conceal imperfections, especially the grave ones, but I noticed that its light- reflecting finish kinda' gives you the illusion of a more even skin tone-I also like that it can conceal redness quite effectively! It can't fill in fine lines and cover skin bumps though, and application could be a lil' streaky.

Beige is a lil' light on me, but I can adjust it to my skin tone easily with my shade- matching powders, thanks to its perfect undertone. It yields a like- skin finish and staying power is pretty good for such an affordable BB Cream: it lasts all day with minimal fading and can control oil on my T-zone for up to 3 hours. It feels so light that you can use it underneath liquid or powder foundation! Formula is moisturizing and you're guaranteed with a soft, hydrated, but non-sticky skin texture all day that's why I think it's good for both dry and combination-oily- skinned gals.

WORK IT: To get medium or full coverage, use powder foundation or a creamy pressed powder to set the product.

It's a very good and very affordable face base for daytime. Nice coverage, nice texture, nice wear time, and price is just right. The shade range could be limited, but since it finally has a shade with a yellow undertone, you can fix it without breaking a sweat!

  4. I really wanted to like this BB cream, especially since the shade match was good and it evened out my skin tone, but it sunk into my pores horribly :( As in they looked even bigger when I put this on!

Ah well. Maybe it's not meant for people like me with crater-size pores.

  6. Didn't you breakout from this? I've been steering away from Pond's products for as long as I can remember since I'm breaking out from their products. If no, I'd like to give this a try. I don't like BB Creams but this one seems nice. Good product that is priced right. :)

  7. I'm not really a fan of bb creams since I find them too light for my skin color and has a tad bit sticky feeling but when I tried using my friend's ponds bb cream I sort of like it na. Thanks for the very descriptive review ms. M :)

  8. The Beige shade is such a good match for you. I'm really loving your second picture. I agree with you, it seems that there's not much product inside the tube as well, I wonder how long this will last when used everyday. Price is quite affordable, but this product only has 25g worth of product. There are other BB creams with far more content which are only a little bit more expensive than this one (ie Korean cosmetic brands) which could be more worth the money when you break down the price. I wish Pond's would make a bigger size for this one!

  9. finally..an undertone that works well better for us.
I used it once just to try it out but unfortunately it fell out of my bag when I was rummaging through my stuff.
Works fine actually, but won't be buying a replacement for now since I am trying to test out the other BB creams that I have somehow collected..lol..thanks to my ever loving sponsors (aka friends, families, co-bloggers).
My new obsession is CC Creams and I am trying to test out which brands work well with me.

  13. When I first use this BB cream I didn't like it. During that time I have few blemishes on my skin, it just made it more obvious and my face looks pinkish...
