THE VERDICT:

And now, a dream of mine is slowly unfolding: Happy Skin is slowly (but surely) expanding their Shut Up and Kiss Me Moisturizing Lippies line! Three's a crowd, they say, so Happy Skin introduces three new shades that are sure to excite your puckers and keep it company with brilliant, moisturizing hues! :)

HAPPY SKIN SHUT UP AND KISS ME IN DETAIL

The new line- up consists of two nudes topped with a bright, bold fuchsia-there's one shade for work, for the weekend, and for partying! :D

Swatches after the jump!

HAPPY SKIN SHUT UP AND KISS ME IN ACTION

Honeymoon Glow

- a pink-mauve shade.

My most favorite shade in the line! It's like a more mature version of MAC Cosmo and an absolutely safe-for-office-and-school kind of color that gives skin a subtly rosy flush.

Just Say Yes

- a light coral shade with a pink undertone

Oh yes, this is the ONLY pale peach shade that did not make my teeth look yellowish, plus it doesn't appear chalky and did not wash me out! Thanks, Happy Skin, you've finally put an end to a personal belief that such color will never look good on warm skin tones!

Playing Footsie

- a bright fuchsia with blue-violet micro shimmer.

I believe I have mentioned before that Nars Funny Face is one of my all- time favorite fuchsia lipsticks. Now I'm proud to introduce a near dupe in Playing Footsie! :D

These shades are now available in all Plains 'n Prints and Beauty Bar stores. What's your favorite among the three? :)

  1. Wow, I love their new shades as well. :) But what I love the most is the honeymoon glow. It's not too pink, yet not too nude. Perfect for everyday make-up. I also like the playing footsie shade but I might only use it on parties for a bolder statement. :) I super love happy skin products. I hope they add more to their makeup line. :)

  2. Swatched all three shades earlier. Honeymoon Glow looks a bit more brown and a tad darker than The Morning After. Just Say Yes is very lovely color. It is quite similar to my favorite Mac Please Me. However I find that it is a bit streaky during application. Any tips to reduce the streakiness? Playing Footsie is a very fun shade! I love it and for me it is the most balmy in texture and non-drying of the three. I got PF but did not get JSY because of the streaky issue. Might awatch it anither time and see if it will change my mind then. :)

  3. They're really expanding ha... This is the only brand I knew that creates too many shades. The Honeymoon Glow looks best in you. Hindi siya nakakasawang tingnan. What I can say with Playing Footsie is "Woah..." That was my initial impression when I saw it. But then it's looks nice. That's a nice rating... This is a must have...
