L'Oreal Miss Manga Mascara is Here + L'Oreal Big, Big Sale!

What I like best about the Doll look is the big, fat, fanned out lashes: it's simple, it's a neutral look for everyone to try, and it magically brightens the face. With big lashes, you can skip eyeshadow and still look prim, and also, it lets you sport the Doll look whilst still staying true to your age (hehe :D).

If you're a fan of the Doll look and big lashes (me!), there's finally a mascara that's totally right up your alley called L'Oreal False Lash Miss Manga, L'Oreal's latest product for the eyes. I first learned about Miss Manga Mascara through a reader of mine and I think that was just a week or two ago, and lo and behold, we finally have it!

I'll share with you some sweet details about this mascara, plus you gotta check out L'Oreal's BIG sale for 2015! Just click READ MORE for the details!

According to L'Oreal, Miss Manga False Lash Mascara is built to suit Asian lashes. It has a rich, volumizing/curling formula that promises to give 10x the volume and 2x the drama,  provide superior hold, and highlight lower lashes. It features the patented conic arched brush, a curved brush that claims to catch, cover, and curl each and every lash, plus its small tip helps reveal lower lashes for that wide, doll- eyed look. This mascara also promises to give you 24- hour curled lashes and 12- hour sweat- proof coverage.

What makes Miss Manga False Lash Mascara perfect for Asian lashes? Take a look at the anatomy of the Asian eyelashes: it's thin, pin- straight, and drooping for most people. L'Oreal said that this mascara has an Asia- specific formula that is expertly designed to lift Asian lashes and give it definition without weighing it down.

Miss Manga, in comic character form, is a girly Panda with big, wide eyes and fluffy lashes-she's fun, she's happy, and so kawaii. Miss Manga was officially launched in Manila last week at Whitespace, Makati City. We were given Miss Manga money and shopped for more L'Oreal products to come up with our own versions of the Doll/Miss Manga Look.

The guests were treated to Kawaii hair styles and makeup. Here's Tellie of Beauty By Tellie, one of my fave, up-and-coming local beauty gurus. Btw, don't you think Tellie is the perfect human version of Miss Manga? :D

Miss Manga says "Hello!" to my readers! :D Hope you can check her out soon.

Miss Manga False Lash Mascara is now available in all L'Oreal counters in leading department stores, drugstores, and supermarkets. It retails at P599.00.

  1. A mascara made for Asian lashes? That was great! I have short, sparse, pointing downward eyelashes plus hooded eyelids (asian na asian lang ang dating). A lot of girls will be thrilled to try this. And this is the perfect time to buy this pala because it's on Sale!

  7. Now I want this!!! I can't remember if I mentioned this before but my friend told me that it smudges minimally on her oily skin. It can also be removed easily by soap and water. :) This doesn't make her lashes volumized but rather curled and long :D

  11. Maybelline and Nivea's on sale too! :)
Is it just me na nakakaisip ng mangga (the fruit) while reading the words "Miss Manga"? As in parang, "miss, mangga?" Hahaha. Ang corny ko.
Anyway, i think this is the first mascara that caters specifically to asian women. I wonder how it looks like personally.

  12. I love mascaras that would give me the "falsies" look. That way, I don't need to wear lash extensions / fake lashes - feels so weird and heavy. I should try this when I use up my current brand.

  13. I really have short lashes and it is one of my little insecurity as a teenager. I've always loved anime eyes from Japan so I think this could be a great mascara to recreate that one. It's the peak of my curiosity for makeups and cosmetic brands so I think I'll give this one a try. It is quite pricey for me but I'll for the best for the sake of my lashes.
