July Favorites

I call last month's set of favorites "Corporate- Ready" because these were pretty much my go- to beauty products for last month's meetings, presentations, and a bunch of corporate and business- related affairs. There's a red lippie to empower me (FYI, I dub it as my lucky shade), my "opportunity foundation", a lip treatment, a multi-purpose spot treatment to rid my skin of stress dots aka zits, an easy-to-use, waterproof cream shadow, an innovative lipstick, and a fresh, aquatic Rose fragrance.

1. NIVEA LIP BUTTER ORIGINAL

- My new favorite lip treatment for night time! This super affordable, handy, and accessible lip balm is highly emollient and protects my lips from cold temperatures, effectively soothes and softens my lips, and even helps soften dead skin cells.

2. DAVIDOFF COOL WATER SEA ROSE

- This limited edition Davidoff fragrance is one of the nicest- smelling aquatic Rose perfumes to date. It's fresh, jovial, and very young.

- Matte Reds is one of the most beautiful collection of Red lipsticks in the market today, not to mention one of the most affordable. Pure Ruby and Pure Garnet are my faves!

- This gentle yet effective spot treatment comes in a generous tub and not only heals acne, but other skin problems such as redness and dryness.

- This super waterproof and easy to blend cream shadow by MUFE can withstand oily lids and sweat, and can last you from day to night. It's one of the best there is.

- This lipstick comes in a one-click-release packaging that enables you to take the right amount of lipstick you need every time, thus preventing breakage.  It's an on-the-go product as well because its packaging lets you apply it anytime without the hassle of twisting the base and risk of breaking the product, unlike traditional lipsticks.

Don't forget to share your faves with me. :)

  2. i was really convinced that one of that matte lippies from L'oreal and that Nivea Lip Butter will be included on your July faves!

Mine includes: Avon Skingoodness (cc cream); Philosophy Total Matteness (toner - a deluxe sample) and MUZ Anti-Wrinkle Eyecream (a Korean Brand i accidentally discovered at Mercury Drugstore, i thought it was a mask because it was housed in a sachet)

  4. Now I'm really convinced to buy Nivea Lip Butter. I've been only using Maybelline Baby Lips Tinted Lip Balm for my lips since it's both balm and lipstick in one.

My favorites would include Etude House Every Month Cleansing Foam (11 - Walnut) because it gives me a radiant glow after every wash, Avon Quelch Deodorant Cream, and Glam Works Nourishing Lotion with Avocado (because I was able to buy two for P99 at Watsons and it smells good!).

  5. Nivea lip butters are really great! I use them as well but I have the macadamia vanilla variant. My favorite for the month is a lip combo I've discovered. I don't like to wear red lipsticks as often as I used to but I don't want to leave them unused so what I did was to put a nude lip liner first (I used MAC Spice liner) then I topped it off with Revlon Matte Balm in Standout. It's AMAZING!! Ahhh. Such a great discovery for me. Thanks for this post! :)

  13. I use my Nivea lip butter too before going to bed and I love how I woke up with super moisturized lips! :)

My favorites are: Maybelline Falsies, K-Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner and Etude House Drawing Eyebrow Pencil (Yay for eye makeup products!) :) I've always wanted to try the L'Oreal lipsticks from the Star Matte Reds collection, but I'm having a hard time picking the perfect red for me. :(

  14. Definitely a good list of faves. :) I'm loving the Nivea too. The davidoff sounds super bango. I love rose perfumes. :) As for me naman, I'm currently liking Mary Kay timewise sunscreen (super light and doesn't leave a white cast), Avon simply pretty foundation, Avon super drama mascara (which has a weird wand) and LA Girl eyeshadow collection in smoky. :)
