Save 80% from Foot Spa Sessions With This Product

Foot Spa is important to the well- being and overall beauty of the feet and God knows how much I LOOOOVE foot spa. I can have foot spa everyday just because that’s how much I walk and use my feet every single day. I also like wearing open footwear that’s why pretty feet are a must for me and I can achieve that with a foot spa treatment.

A regular foot spa in Manila costs about P300.00-P500.00, depending on the salon and for some salons, that’s exclusive of pedicure. In a year, you can spend P10,800.00 to P18,000.00 on foot spa alone. You can actually do foot spa at home; The reason why we prefer not to is because the whole process is tiring as it requires a lot of steps—definitely not the things you wanna do after a long day!

Thanks to modern technology, Scholl was able to come up with a new product that I’d like to call “Automatic Foot Spa” because all you have to do is just turn on the switch, glide it across your feet for a couple of minutes, and voila! You finally have healthy- looking and beautiful feet that you can bare with confidence. This cool, new beauty gadget will give you beautiful, smooth skin after just one use.

The new product is called Scholl Velvet Smooth Express Pedi Electronic Foot File. It features a Micralumina Roller that gently buffs away hard skin and dead skin cells in minutes to give you beautiful, smooth, healthy- looking feet.

The device costs P1,685.00 and the Micralumina Roller Head replacements cost P550.00 for a pack of two. It just looks more expensive in the beginning, but in the long run, you’ll get to save at least P15,750.00 from in- salon Foot Spa treatments (gas, parking, tips, and food expenses excluded).

First Review: The Device

First off, I will tell you all about the technical aspects of this product. I was impressed at how light and ergonomic the device is. It looks quite complicated at first look, but it’s very easy to use after all. It feels solid and not cheap. The switch is located at the neck of the roller and all you have to do is to just twist it to the left to turn it on and twist it to the right to turn it off. The device runs on 4 AA batteries.

The Micralumina Roller is gritty yet it doesn’t feel abrasive to the skin. The replacement rollers are a good idea as they are very hygienic.

Once turned on, the roller rolls rapidly and at a single speed only that it intimidated me in the beginning, but since Micralumina is made to buff dead skin gently from the skin, I didn’t get any cuts while usage.

I just started using this product and so far, I find it great. I’ll be doing a separate review on the effects of this product plus I’ll throw in a tutorial as well. Until then. ;)

In the meantime, visit SCHOLL PHILIPPINES on Facebook for more information about this product. You can purchase Scholl Express Pedi in selected Watsons stores.

  1. I don't do foot spas that often but I do know how relaxing they could be but I really cannot be bothered spending money for it! I do my own foot spa at home whenever I remember it using some baking soda. I scrub my feet with it then I slather some foot lotion (I use the one from Human Heart Nature) and put some socks on so it will retain the moisture. That's basically my foot spa! Haha. And I don't usually wear open shoes outside. I commute to places and Manila is very polluted. Once I step outside with slippers or sandals on, I know my soles will be dirty in a minute! Yikes! But that device looks really neat. I might recommend this to my sister. She loves having pedicures and foot spas more than I do so she might be interested in this! Thanks for this post. :)

    1. Haha! I get that all the time. When I walk, say, around BGC while wearing slippers and sandals, my feet would get really dirt and have those dirt marks haha.

Hope you're sister will like it. It could be a great gift for her! :)

  3. I'll recommend this to a friend who has cracked heels and usually goes to get foot spas :) The friend I came with when I claimed my prizes from your anniversary giveaway :) I walk a lot too but my main problem with my feet is that it has a lot of protruding(?) veins.

nakocontrol din po ba ang pagikot nung pangbuff? i will wait for your post ms m for another detailed review (how to use and its benefits) -- hoping that all watsons have this on their shelves

  5. I don't really go for footspa but when I do, it's always Ellen's Aesthetic Center (they give the best foot spa! Plus the pink chair's too cute for words!).
But this one's a great idea, will defintely save you money in the long run. This is best for girls who love pampering their feet regularly.

  8. It's a shame to admit that I usually take my feet for granted and so I always wear closed shoes to hide them (Eeeep!) :( Guess it's time to pamper them and give the love they deserve! I can't wait to see how this worked for you. :)

  10. This is definitely great news! My mom is an avid-fan of foot spas! I wonder how effective this is?
She has "really thick and hard calloused" feet -- really! I'm not sure though if it would work on her?
Please do share your review SOON! And please do let us know if it would work on "really thick and hard calloused feet" as in, you can knock on my mom's heel...that's how hard her calloused feet are when she hasn't gone to her regular foot spa for 2 weeks.

  11. I'm quite curious, Martha, as I've never had a foot spa before. Does it involve massaging and exfoliating? I hope you can compare this device with the procedures done at this salon. :)

    1. Hi Jen, No, it doesn't have the massaging effect. Only the exfoliating effect. :)

  12. Interesting product. I don't go to foot spa salons because the ates there are complaining na wala naman daw akong kalyo in the first place. So after a few times of getting the same comment, I just massage my foot at home. :) Tipid pa. Will wait for your review about the product.,
