 THE VERDICT:

I've been playing with Céleteque's newest products for the past week and I've found a couple of favorites. My top choice is the 24 Hr. Photoready Foundation; It's a versatile liquid foundation that has priming, concealing, and moisturizing benefits, plus it's one of those nice drugstore foundations I've used and I'm proud of it because it's by a Filipino brand.

CÉLETEQUE DERMOCOSMETICS 24- HR. PHOTOREADY FOUNDATION IN BEIGE IN DETAIL

This foundation claims to give an airbrushed finish and conceal imperfections with micro pigments and silicone elastomers. Phytocelltec from plant culture provides anti-aging benefits while SPF 30 protects the skin. According to Céleteque, studies have shown that it can reduce lines for up to 41.31% by the fourth week of use. It comes in three shades: Light, Natural, and Beige.

Ingredients

Beige is a warm beige with a mix of peach and yellow undertone. For me, this shade best suits yellow or olive skin tones due to its undertone; I feel that it will look a tad bit orange on neutral or pink skin tones. This shade looks a bit light on me due to the SPF 30 content, but it's forgivable. Consistency is a smooth, semi- whipped liquid due to the bevy of silicones and polymers in it. That said, look for something else if you're prone to clogged skin or you have sensitive skin. The foundation is unscented. Regarding the packaging, I like the boxes, but I'm not so sure about the flat white choice for the tubes. :p

Skin with Céleteque Dermocosmetics Dark Spot Concealer

Two layers of the foundation

True enough, the foundation closely yields an airbrushed finish; it smooths out rough skin texture, plumps skin, and conceals light to medium discolorations. The silicone and polymer ingredients improve the foundation's coverage and at the same time, keeps the skin moisturized. If you've got dry skin, however, it's best to moisturize first!

Even without a primer, it holds up well on my combination oily/normal skin. Thankfully, I didn't break out with this product despite the amount of silicone and polymers in it. It feels lightweight on the skin and it controls oil for around 3 hours; that's pretty good! Best part, no dryness experienced with this product!

What impresses me so much about this product is it's by a local brand; it gives us a preview of the good things that are happening in the local cosmetics industry and our products are becoming more and more competitive. This foundation is just as good as some foreign brands of drugstore liquid foundation and it's priced decently given its performance, but I wish more shades will be added soon. Céleteque Dermocosmetics 24-Hr. Photoready Foundation is good for those with combination and moderately oily skin, those who are looking for a versatile, skin- caring foundation. What a good start for Céleteque Dermocosmetics!

  1. I love that Céleteque comes up with these amazing products. And I didn't know it's a local brand also, wow, just wow! I thought this is an imported one but no I am wrong about that. Also for a good foundation like that, I am shocked that it's cheaper unlike high end brands that also does just the same thing.

    1. Yeah, totally understandable. People make the same mistake with VMV Hypoallergenics too, thinking that it's a foreign brand. :D

Yup, this is a pretty good foundation, I am surprised. :D

  6. Good to know it performs well. I just don't like din the packaging, it looks so plain. Haha. Anyway, it's a good all-in-one product. A bit expensive lang though for such a small amount. That silicon thing is a bit scary.

  7. I'd love to try Celeteque's make-up line soon. I like white and I have no issues with the white tube although it looks like medicinal cream/ gel to me. Haha. I am just a bit wary of the silicone content since I do have large pores which obviously is prone to clogging and pimples! T_T

  10. Been using Pond's BB cream for two years now! haha. I didn't switch to any brands because most BB creams are either too gray or too pink, watery or too heavy on the skin. And Korean BB creams give me small zits. I think I'm going to try this because of its yellow undertone! And the staying power ha, 4/5 siya sayo Ms. M. hehe
