 THE VERDICT:

I commute often for two primary reasons: 1. I contribute to the decrease of heavy traffic in Manila. 2. I employ Taxi Drivers, ergo they won't feel the need to do something unscrupulous. The biggest challenge in commuting, for me, has always been having smelly hair. I don't know what's up with my hair, but smoke odors stick easily onto it; definitely not a good scent to have on before going to meetings! I got fragrant shampoos that I use everyday, but seems like they're not enough any longer because pollution has gotten worse, methinks.

Smelly hair problems have been solved just recently because of Himawari Shampoo and Conditioners, a fragrant duo with a lovely floral fragrance that lasts and wards off hair odor effectively!

HIMAWARI DEAR BEAUTÉ OIL IN SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER IN DETAIL

A hair care brand by Kracie, Himawari features Oil Ex formula that helps reduce frizz and improve manageability.

Conditioner, Ingredients

Shampoo, Ingredients

The shampoo has a pearlized consistency, giving hair a shine boost. Conditioner is a light cream that doesn't keep your hair soft and weighed down, yet detangles effectively. I like the shampoo because it has a softening formula. Both products have bright floral fragrance; fragrance is a lil' strong, which is the secret to its odor- fighting prowess.  The fragrance it has is classy and not heady, thus it's something that I don't mind smelling on my hair the entire day.

Aside from making my hair smell great the whole day, it has superior detangling and softening properties too. My hair feels like silky sheets whenever I use this product and the liquid cream consistency of the products moisturize hair effectively yet without weighing it down. It works for all skin types, although I'm not sure if it's okay to use on sensitive skin.  It's a bit expensive though.

Himawari Shampoo and Conditioner is perfect for those with oily scalp (we all know that sebum gives hair and scalp a nasty odor) and those who want to sport great smelling hair!

  3. I remember back in college my hair stinks when I hit the sack, it's dull, lifeless and every ends is split. Luckily my work now is just a walking distance from home so I was finally save from pollutants. Anyway, I am interested with the product (well I'm kind of adventurous with hair products that skincare hehehehe)

  4. The scent of Cream Silk (pink variant) also stays all day. I have hair that sucks up pollution too, but I find that Cream Silk can somehow fight off the smell of vehicle exhaust.

  5. I like shampoos that leaves my hair smelling nice the whole day. Too bad not all shampoos that we see at grocery stores have long-lasting scent. Most conditioners may smell good but not all of them are effective in softening and controlling frizz. The Himawari shampoo and conditioner seems so good at taming those frizz and leaving hair smelling good the whole day. My only problem about this is the price...ooops! But i'm sure it's worth the price!

  6. Superb performance thought it's a bit pricey for me. But I would try to buy once since it looks a good switch for my hair. I always commute too, so yes smelly hair is a real problem. :/
