FOTD: Petal + Get The Look

Hola! Sharing this look I whipped up last week. I was cleaning my eyeshadow drawer and disinfecting some palettes last Sunday, and unearthed my Lime Crime Palette D'Antoinette eyeshadow palette; it was Lime Crime's first- ever eyeshadow palette; I remember how much I loved it and how I wore it often the first time I got my hands on it; it still remains as the best bright eyeshadow palette I've ever had.

As I was swatching the shades, I was inspired to create a summer look and I call it Petal featuring one of my fave shades in the palette, Royal Flush.

EYES:

Lash EM Double Trouble Mascara
Lash EM Color Strokes Brow Tint and Lift
Malissa Kiss Super Ultra HD Eye Liner
Inglot AMC Brow Gel Liner

Step 1: Apply a matte baby pink eyeshadow all over the lower lid; don't go beyond the lower lid because we want to achieve a concentrated color effect in here.

Step 2: Take a charcoal brown eyeshadow and apply a shadowy layer on the outer crease and blend all the way to the above crease.

Step 3: Line your eyes with a thick stroke of eyeliner to counter the all too cool pink eyeshadow

Step 4: Apply a cream or pale pink matte eyeliner on your waterline

The final look:

FACE:

Sleek Base Duo
POP Beauty Contour Kit (Matte Effect)
NYX Illuminator
Bobbi Brown Blush (Coral)

LIPS:

Mirenesse Matte Lipstick (Rome)

This look's perfect for summer, especially for festivals, road trips, summer parties, and when you just feel like dressing up even if it's an ordinary day!

Let me know what you think of this look!
