 THE VERDICT:

One of my biggest Beauty Blogger dreams is to own each and every single shade of Make Up For Ever's Artist Shadow collection; if ever that happens, I'd literally cry and feel like I won a million dollars, and I'd probably be flooding you guys with eyeshadow tutorials! This will be part of my bucket list and I will surely enjoy for now this MUFE palette that brings me pretty close to that dream: Artist Shadows 3 Spring Flowers. It's the first time I owned a MUFE eyeshadow palette and I must say, the quality is just as good as the singles!

MAKE UP FOR EVER ARTIST SHADOWS 3 SPRING FLOWERS IN DETAIL

This third volume of eyeshadows was released alongside the brand's Rebellious Flowers collection for Spring/Summer 2016. Palette contains 9 shades (with one that can double as blush) and a look booklet.

Sleek. Sexy. Sophisticated. This is what I love about MUFE's packaging; the product comes in a thick cardboard packaging that's pretty handy and features a magnetic closure.

Review on the quality of MUFE's Artist Shadows HERE.

The palette features 9 shades and the peach/pink one in the middle is a universal blush shade that will complement a variety of skin tones and all the shades in this palette; the double- ended arrows indicate the shades that will go well with each other; with this palette, it's like you bought 9 palettes already (because you can mix and match the shades!).

Drool over the swatches:

ME-230- deep blue semi- metallic shade
D-236- Turquoise blue with tone on tone shimmer
S-404- pale yellow with faint shimmer and satin finish

I-544- Pinkish Taupe with semi- frost finish
I-804- peachy pink with slight peach shimmer
ME-512- cream-pale gold with a frost finish

ME-930- dark violet with slight silver shimmer
I-918- lavender with slight silver shimmer
I-528- soft white with faint shimmer and satin finish

All shades have either a frost or shimmer finish just because this is for Summer; it's fine because the season calls for such shades, finishes, and textures, and the shimmer doesn't look tacky and isn't attention- grabbing in any way so I'm fine with them. Take note that the products, when swatched, weren't wet or used with eye primer and yet color payoff is intense, true, and rich; no patches, fallout, and caking; just pure, smooth, pigmented color that glided across my skin; it's such an impressive feat for MUFE because this is one of the amazing palettes with eyeshadows I've encountered that did not suck; eyeshadow palettes tend to have mass produced, not so stellar quality and glad that this one doesn't feel like that at all!

Another thing I love about this palette? The Blues look good either on fair or warm skin!

So if you're a palette lady, this is one of the eyeshadow palettes I would recommend; if you're into color, I'd recommend this also. If you simply just want an eyeshadow palette that will give you the bang for your buck, this is great to consider!

  1. In love with all the pinks and the deep purple! Love how the one on the middle can double as a blush and some of the lighter hues can double as highlighter!

  2. I love MUFE. Easily blends and light on skin. But quite pricey. I love the pink shades. Though, I'm not into eyeshadows. Anyway, colors you picked suit on you.
