Adapting Your Makeup Kit To Your School Activities And Surroundings (Ver. 2016)

I received a request from one of my readers to update my ADAPTING YOUR MAKEUP KIT TO YOUR SCHOOL ACTIVITIES AND SURROUNDINGS, one of the most read articles on my blog. Thanks to that reader who brought up the idea!

Since August is already near, which is the start of the school year for some schools in the Philippines, here's a makeup kit cheat sheet that will teach you how to build the perfect makeup kit based on your activities and surroundings. No two school surroundings and activities are the same, therefore, your makeup kit shouldn't be too!

STAYING INSIDE AIR-CONDITIONED ROOMS ALL DAY LONG

- Are you staying inside air- conditioned places for the most part of your day? Cold air is the culprit behind dry, dull skin so be sure to keep your skin and lips hydrated. Here are my suggested products:

Tony Moly Face Mix Cream Concealer
Pixi Hydrating Mist

EYES:

Lash EM Colour Strokes Eye Liner (features a lash and brow growth serum plus plant- derived nutrients to keep your lashes and brows healthy and fortified)
Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara
Cathy Doll Sexybrow Pencil

LIPS:

Chapstick Mix Stick Lip Balm
Happy Skin Shut Up And Kiss Me Moisturizing Lippie

SKIN:

The Body Shop Hand And Nail Cream

 THE COMMUTER

- Commuting often to school and around school? Wear lightweight makeup and keep your skin protected and hydrated at all times so you'll look fresh and fab before class.

FACE:

Benefit The Porefessional Matte Rescue Gel
Nivea Sun Protect and Moisture Face Sunblock SPF 50
L'Oreal True Match Crayon Concealer
Happy Skin Don't Get Mad Get Even Powder Foundation

Sleek Matte Me Liquid Lipstick
or
Tony Moly Get It Lip Tint

SKIN:

Nivea Sun Protect and White Sunscreen SPF 30

THE WALKER

- Walking around school all the time? Wear extra light yet long- wearing makeup to combat sweat and oil so you'll look flawlessly fresh despite your hectic academic schedule!

  1. Such a nice post. You have clearly depicted the idea of the content. Specially focused at writing these products. That makes me remember of this post on this best beard trimmers guide. The writers are clearly marked their hypothesis. It looks quite fascinating that you writings have that similar to Stephen from Shop Trimmers: A trimmer reviews blog. Kudos for writing that amazingly.

  6. I'm student no more but, my oilies can't be tamed even in air conditioned setting so no sebum powder and baby powder for my back saves my day.

  9. I studied in Baguio way back in college so it's really cold most of the time, so it's a must for me to have lip balm for my lips :)))

  10. This is a really helpful cheat sheet! :) I'm personally someone who stays inside an air-conditioned room all day, so I'm glad to see some of my favorite make up items on that list! :) I always carry around a brow pencil, translucent powder, lipstick of the day, and lip balm for touch ups. I've also recently realized the value of using hand cream, so it's also become a mainstay in my kikay kit! I have the Lash Em liner, but I haven't figured out a way to use it in an appropriate manner for school. Can you do a tutorial on this? Something like "Eyeliner shapes for every occasion" :) I think it's the part of make up that can easily make or break your look if it becomes too strong or too subtle for a look. :)

  11. Love this kind of article! Keep them coming. Very helpful. My must have for a commuter like me is the tfs style my brow as it lasts the whole day and my well-loved kjm tint (long lasting as well)! I love products that will last the whole day because I hate retouching.
