Bodia Nature Rice Facial Scrub Jasmine Rice and Rose Review + Price

Here's a review on Bodia Rice Facial Scrub Jasmine Rice and Rose .

PRICE: Around 12USD (Approximately P500.00+)
FROM: Siem Reap, International Airport
OTHER LOCATIONS: Available in Cambodia

 THE VERDICT:

My observation in Cambodia (at least in Siem Reap) is it's not that inclined to cosmetics, thus the lack of local beauty brands (maybe I haven't looked hard enough, but really, I did not see a lot); there are a handful of international beauty labels available though, but I think it 's primarily for the tourists because Siem Reap is one of the highly visited destinations in Asia.

But there's one Cambodian beauty brand that stood out: Bodia Nature. It's present in almost all stores and doesn't lag behind its international counterparts. I picked up this Rice Facial Scrub at the airport before my flight back to Manila and I've been using it for almost a month now; I say it's a rich scrub that takes you back to nature and is ideal for dry skin.

BODIA NATURE RICE FACIAL SCRUB JASMINE RICE AND ROSE IN ACTION

This charming facial scrub is only around P500.00, but it sure does feel and look like it's priced at around a thousand pesos; it comes with a wooden spatula to keep your scrub pure from possible contaminants that your hands may bring.

I use facial scrubs all the time and they don't surprise me anymore, but boy, this is one fabulous scrub! For one, its raw, natural texture coupled with the soothing scent of Rice and Rose brings me back to nature and makes me feel that I'm really using a naturally- made scrub. It leaves a barrier of oil -possibly Sesame- so it's great for those with dry skin, but not so for those with really oily and sensitive skin. The oil barrier washes off with a regular facial cleanser; I feel that it's just there to act as a protector between your skin and the scrub because this one's really gritty, therefore it will last you long. No breakouts with this one.

Bodia Nature Rice Facial Scrub is a good buy, but I wish there's a less oilier version so I don't have to cleanse with a facial wash anymore after usage. Nevertheless, no regrets that I got it impulsively before leaving Cambodia because it smells so good and works great!

  6. I like the idea of mixing rice and rose for a facial scrub! :) The only facial scrub I've ever tried is from St. Ives and I'm getting tired of the apricot scent. I've been very much into rose-scented items! I think I will love this one if it were locally available. :) For the amount of product you get and the performance it gives, I think's it's a great steal! And because it's made of rice it's also environmentally friendly! :) Maybe I can find a DIY for a similar facial scrub hihi. Thanks for this! :)
