L'Oreal Paris Micellar Water: Cleansing the French Way

We all know that Micellar Water is a staple in the skin care routines of French women, but do you know how it became such and why it was invented? France's fresh water is considered as 'hard water' and doesn't sit well with most skin, thus the Micellar Water is born. It's an alternative to fresh water, but boosted with oil particles to deliver intense cleansing power without the need for soap; the product was eventually adapted by almost all French women and became one of the most popular cleansing solutions as we know it.

Micellar Water can cost a pretty penny, especially if they have extra benefits and L'Oreal has just made it even more affordable for us with the unveiling of L'Oreal Paris Micellar Water.

L'Oreal Micellar Water comes in two variants: Refreshing and Moisturizing. Moisturizing is for dry skin types and Refreshing, for oily skin types. Aside from cleansing skin, the products also soothe, tone, and prepare skin for the rest of your skin care routine.

The products were launched yesterday; we got to know which Micellar Water best suits our skin type and needs.

How to effectively use Micellar Water? Press onto a certain part for 5 seconds then wipe off.

L'Oreal Paris Micellar Water is now available in all leading department stores and retails at P225.00 each for a 250ml bottle. Please visit L'OREAL PARIS PHILIPPINES on Facebook for more information about this product.

  1. This is affordable! Hope that my skin wouldn't react negatively with it. I just love the fact that drug store brands are now launching these kind of products because it makes everything so sulit for students like me. I prefer micellar water than make up removers because it feels light on the skin, not greasy for my everyday makeup then I use oil types when I wear heavy makeup.

  2. Wow, Maybelline and L'Oreal are edging it out against each other. Though I think the Maybelline Micellar water has more bang for your buck.

    1. They are actually from the same company. Notice how they have almost the same products or launch products simultaneously. According to some management personnel from L'oreal, they created Maybelline to give consumers choices for more affordable products.
