 THE VERDICT:

Tony Moly's cutest makeup collection for me is the Pantone- inspired collection; they're called Cheektone, Liptone, and Eyetone. I'm swatching pieces from the entire collection today.

TONY MOLY PANTONE- INSPIRED MAKEUP COLLECTION IN DETAIL

This minimalist collection is so chic and I love how photogenic they are; also, no one would suspect that these are very affordable products because they don't look cheap!

Eyetone is a range of single eyeshadow products; finishes come in matte and shimmer; the refills come in travel- friendly, standalone packaging; you don't need to buy a palette to keep them protected.

But if you happen to love the entire Eyetone collection and would want them to be more compact, you can always purchase the refillable palette that comes with a dual- ended sponge applicator.

One weakness of the packaging of the single eyeshadows is it's not designed for depotting so be careful when removing the eyeshadows.

Liptone is an affordable lip balm in chic- looking packaging; it yields light moisture, perfect for prepping lips before lipstick or if you don't experience severe dryness on the lips; my favorite is the mint lip balm because it has a light cooling effect.

Cheektone is a range of blush and contour products; the pans come in a modest size and are pretty travel- friendly.

TONY MOLY PANTONE- INSPIRED COLLECTION IN ACTION

L-R: Eyetone Matte in M01 and M03, Eyetone Shimmer in S06, Cheektone in PO2

M01- dirty cream shade
M03- muted baby pink
S06- forest green with gold shimmer (this is a different eyeshadow compared to the one shown in the first two photos on top; I decided to change the shade from the bunch I have the last minute; that eyeshadow along with the rest of the products from this collection that I got will be given away in #TBJ17K giveaway on Instagram. :) )

P02- a petal pink shade with a satin finish

S06 is a good shade to have in your makeup kit this year since Green is the color of the year, and the emerald green shade gives depth and definition to the eyes, all while complementing Filipino complexion.

PO2 is a light pink shade; a bit too light for my skin tone though, as you can see; I'm using it as a brow highlighter instead; as for the quality of the blush, the powder is smooth and doesn't leave a chalky look and feel.

This Pantone- inspired collection is great for casual wear and the chic packaging and concept is perfect for Pantone- lovers and minimalists!
