An Overnight Pimple Soother: Purederm Spot Reducer Gel Patches Review, Price

Here's a review on Purederm Spot Reducer Gel Patches.

PRICE: Around P100.00

 THE VERDICT:

One reason why your spot treatment doesn't work is you hit the sack right after administering it; treatments need some time to settle and work their magic on your skin, plus your skin needs a moment to absorb them too; as you toss and turn in bed, and bury your face in the sheets, the treatments get wiped off; the result is either they don't work or take time to work in getting rid of zits.

If you can't wait for skin care to settle and would rather not lose precious sleep over it, a gel patch like Purederm's should do the trick! Is it effective? I'll talk about it briefly below.

WHAT IS IT:

This patch set contains 30 hydrogel patches with Salicylic Acid and other plant extracts that help get rid of zits and strengthen skin.

The patches look like round bandages; they stick pretty well on the skin without actually feeling like tape and they don't fall off, thanks to the super slim width.

Ingredients

HOW IS IT? IS IT EFFECTIVE?

The patches have no scent and yield little to no stinging sensation; it's a very comfortable treatment.

Overnight, this product helps flatten zits, reduce redness and swelling, and soothes without drying out the skin. It works both on papules and pustules!

This is my go- to recently especially when I'd rather sleep than wait for my spot treatment to seep in or I have a big day the next day and a zit all of a sudden decided to show up on my skin. It's a pretty great product, plus it's a travel- friendly spot treatment too! I don't know how this will work on severe acne, but on mild to moderate acne, it works.

I recommend this to everyone who's looking for a fuss- free, travel- friendly spot treatment that requires no drying time.

To those who will purchase and try this product, I would like to ask you to please dispose it properly by keeping the plastic pads and box, and using both to house used patches before discarding. Please do not discard the patches in the toilet, shower, or sink because these are made with plastic material that is toxic to marine life; it will easily get discarded in the ocean and most likely end up in the bellies of turtles, dolphins, sharks, whales, and other marine creatures. Let's all do our part in keeping the oceans clean and safe.

  4. I tried the patches like this from Leaders and I don't like it that much coz it feels like plastic tape on my zits. 1 box is still unused. I got to try just 2 pads.

  5. I was supposed to buy this..almost! But decided not to bcoz I still have my acne gel though you're right this would be perfect so I don't have to wait for too long for my gel to be absorb by my skin. Plus, I read that it Salicylic contetnt is more than what's other patches. For sure it would really works on my pimples, and its less of a price than other pimple patches or gels.

  9. I've tried a pimple patch from another brand and it was somehow effective. This one from Purederm costs less and is readily available in Watson's and/or SM so I think I'll try this one out the next time that I need a quick fix for my pimple ^-^
