 THE VERDICT:

Jessie J. is one of my favorite artists of today because this girl has a legit singing voice! Also, I'm always in awe whenever she'd do those "curls" in her notes while singing; curling has always been my weakest skill in voice class haha!

I'm pretty stoked to learn that Make Up For Ever has recently collaborated with her for a series of makeup collections; two of my favorites collaborating on my most favorite thing in the world, makeup is always a happy idea! Here's Jessie J's limited edition Artist Face Color palette, a trio of colors curated by the superstar herself!

WHAT IS IT:

Artist Face Color, the newest from Make Up For Ever, is a collection of blushes, highlighters, and contour powders.

This is a limited edition palette and these shades are the favorites of Jessie J.

The pan is a sleek metal case with a demi- matte finish; truly chic and luxe! This is not customizable though, but you can also customize your own Artist Face Color collection by buying a separate pan (starts at P200.00 only!) and product (pans are at P1,200.00).

L-R: H106- Highlighter; S114- Sculpt; B210- Blush

H106 is a champagne shade with a peach tone; it has micro shimmer and feels exceptionally buttery and delivers an almost liquid strobe to the skin; it looks like the one you'll see in beauty magazines.

S114 is a medium taupe shade; it has a matte finish. This is just a wee bit light for my skin tone so I have to layer it on twice. Good thing the powder is very buildable, as in you can see a huge difference between the first and second layer.

B210 is a light candy pink blush with a soft gold shimmer overlay; almost invisible, but gives a perceivable glow.

HOW DOES IT LOOK LIKE?

Wearing all the products in this photo. The powders are very soft, smooth, and pigmented; they're such a breeze to work onto the skin and no fallout; love that my brush is able to pick up the pigments quickly.

Staying power is really good too. Take note that I have normal skin on my cheeks; on oily skin, it may or may not fade.

As for the shades, I initially thought that they would look pale on me since Jessie has fair skin, but as I said, the powders are very buildable and I didn't have any problem making them show up on my skin!

I highly recommend the new Artist Face Color products; one of the best color products I've used in a while.
