10 Super Moisturizing Soap Finds + Why I'm Back to using soap

I've been a body wash user for years, but lately, I've gotten fond of soap primarily because of economical reasons; it still is much more affordable compared to using body wash, plus lately, more and more awesome and moisturizing soaps have hit retail shelves and online through local and international brands.

Here are my top moisturizing bar picks. Personally tried and tested them, and I guarantee that when you try these, you'll surely give the good ol' bar of soap a second look. ;)

1. VITAPACK 8-IN-1 SOAP
Price: PP

- A soap that's ripe with benefits. This new product by Vitapack has a frothy, soft foam that leaves skin feeling moisturized, plus I noticed that it helps prevent odor too. My skin feels so nice every time I use this!

2. HARU SOAPERIE SOAP WITH TSUBAKI OIL
Price: PP

- A new discovery on Instagram. Haru Soaperie is owned by one of my husband's friends and she's the brain behind this fast- rising homemade skin care brand. Haru prides themselves on Tsubaki Oil used in all of their soap preparations. This one leaves skin buttery soft and silky, plus the soaps are good enough to eat!

3. COCO LINE INTENSIVE MOISTURIZING SOAP
Price: P

- One of my best skin care finds for the year. Coco Line uses locally- sourced coconut oil to infuse their body wash and lotion, and as the base of the soap. The soap has an uplifting tropical coconut fragrance and has smoothing, moisturizing, and powerful deodorizing properties.

Price: P

- My affordable go- to moisturizing bar. This soap softens the skin and cleans without removing essential moisture. My favorite is Rose and Milk.

Price: P

- Another good, affordable moisturizing bar. It has Milk that naturally moisturizes the skin plus the scent is so soothing, perfect to use after a long, tiring day.

Price: PP

- A century- old soap brand from Japan and is a favorite among online beauty lovers. A lot love this soap for its super moisturizing properties. Blue is the classic one and Red is laced with Rose. This is a mild, moisturizing soap that is less drying than commercial soaps plus you can use it on the face too.

Price: PP

- A soap with a heart. Kala is a local brand that helps Carabao farmers in Bulacan. The soaps are made with fresh Carabao's milk and is great for dry, flaky skin. I also like using this when the weather is cool because Carabao Milk somewhat has a moisture- locking effect on me.

Price: PPP

- A soap that is moisturizing as it is unique! Shower Jelly is an innovative soap by Lush; it is made of a glycerin base and fruit juices that will literally leave your skin smelling amazing and supple; zero dryness experienced with this product!

Price: PPP

- Creamy, rich, and softens the skin, plus it is infused with real Bulgarian Rose extracts to provide deep hydration.

10. CETAPHIL GENTLE CLEANSING ANTI-BACTERIAL BAR
Price: PPP

- For the dry and sensitive, Cetaphil's generously- sized bars will soften, smooth, and moisturize skin without the irritation.

Which of these soaps are your favorites?

  1. Is the cow soap made from cow's milk or it's just a name? I've been using Olay bodywash for a year but just recently, I decided to give a local brand, Bali Bliss soap a try. I was just given to me and I loved it. It was supposed to lighten skin but I still can't vouch for that since I'm just on my second week of using it but I love the lather and the clean feel after bathing.

  2. Super agree with your list especially Palmolive White Plus Milk, Olay Whitening Bar and Coco Line Intensive Moisturizing Soap! I personally love Coco Line product range. Been using soap and body wash from their brand. The scent of cocount is very light and not too empowering and I noticed my skin gets very soft and moisturized.
Vitapack 8-in-1 soap is a bit pricey but I feel like it is worth it since it does not melt easily unlike other soaps. So if if I have the budget and I want to pamper myself, I also splurge on this soap.
Wanna try that Lush Santa's Belly Shower Jelly on your list! :)

  5. I have also been opting for soap bars lately. Ever since I started my business, I tried networking with soap makers here in the Philippines and I've gotten to know a lot who really focus not just on the physical appearance of their soap but also with the ingredients and benefits it can give its consumers. :)

  15. You should try Perla soap too! (Yes, the laundry soap) My grandmother always used it to wash intimates and sometimes she'll use it for her skin. She passed on the trick to me and when I'm stressed and breaking out, I use it and it helps calm the zits. The secret is the uber gentle and natural formulation! Coconut oil all the way! :D
