Dienastie: Hip Swedish Eyewear Brand Hits Manila

We are Dienastie @jaygonzaga

I like sunglasses; they're the accessory that I'd choose over baubles any day. However, I find that most sunglass styles are either too stiff or lacking the Millennial taste and aesthetic.

Thank goodness for Dienastie, a brand that speaks to the Millennial aesthetic; the brand has finally come to Manila through Sunglass Haven and here are their products and their story.

We're photographers, graffiti artists, parkourers, DJs, art illustrators, musicians, race car drivers, surfers, architects, and more.

Jesper Lindquist, one of the founders of the brand, has graced the Manila launch. This cool, savvy gentleman also designs the eyewear of Dienastie, I have found; not hard to imagine because he's got that stylish vibe.

Dienastie is inspired by go- getters, artists, and creatives; it is about a lifestyle of pursuing endless passions, unintimidated by choices and people. They say that your choices, no matter how small, can make or break your life and I can see how something simple as choosing your fashion items can affect your perspective; it's all in the details and it's best to choose a style that inspires you and most of all, complements your lifestyle.

But Dienastie goes beyond fashion; at its core is a movement that encourages individuals to just 'go for it' and pursue passions, and this is communicated by eyewear designs that are eclectic, highly functional, lightweight enough that allows freedom to move, and use lens that protect the eyes from UVA/UVB rays. The range is fairly affordable too and starts at P2,000.00+

I think I've found my new pair of shades in Dienastie; it's been a while since I bought one; I only go for brands that I really like most especially one that has everything I like: classic, creative, lightweight, and utterly Millennial!

Dienastie is now available through Sunglass Haven. Visit SUNGLASS HAVEN on Facebook for more details about the brand.

  7. It's a little pricey compared to some brand but with the specifications per pair, I'd say that it's pretty worth it. What a great investment indeed. The frames together with the lenses bring out a classic yet modern millennial vibe. Perfect! Thanks for sharing this, Ms. Martha!
