Suesh started with brushes; My very first brush set is from them and I spotted it in a small store located at Serendra. I recall pleading to my mother to buy it for me for the holidays. It was a 28-pc. brush set that lasted me for years.

As one of the first local beauty brands in the country, Suesh has proven that to be able to stand the test of time, you have to adapt with the ever- changing trends so from being a humble brand of brushes, Suesh has expanded and become a go- to for all things makeup tools and even makeup.

The latest in their complexion range is Studio Skin Long- Wearing Hydrating Foundation and Correctors, with a texture and staying power that's ideal for our hot weather.

These are the latest makeup products by Suesh. The products come in a pump bottle, which is the most ideal packaging for me, plus I gotta commend the overall look and feel of the packaging: it's like professional makeup!

Corrector ingredients

Foundation ingredients

Top to bottom: Green, White, Lavender, Yellow

The correctors have a light fluid texture and light to medium finish. The ones that are the most useful to me were yellow and green; they both performed well in brightening the skin and concealing redness. However, lavender and white were too pale. I wish that these had better pigmentation. White, on the other hand, can be used to lighten dark foundations.

Top to bottom: FK103, FK101, FK106, FK115, FK120

The foundation, just like the corrector, has a light fluid texture and light to medium coverage. There are 5 shades to choose from and they all have yellow undertone, which is great. Props to Suesh also for coming up with a dark shade. Although these won't exactly match a lot of skin tones, Suesh picked out shades that would suit the common Filipina skin tones.

Bare skin

One layer of foundation

I'm using FK 106 because FK115 is a bit too dark for me; I can probably use this when my skin gets a bit darker in the summer. The foundation has a bit tacky consistency, but it goes away after a few seconds. It has pretty good coverage; I did not use concealer nor corrector in this photo. Foundation feels lightweight and sets into a dewy finish.

Staying power is pretty good; foundation stays put the whole day and my face oils up in about 3- 4 hours; pretty good for an affordable foundation. My face also didn't feel dry when I used this without a moisturizer prior, so that proves that this foundation is really hydrating. I like how it's weightless yet can last the whole day.

The new foundation of Suesh is pretty good and worth considering; it's great for dry skin and those who want a long- lasting foundation that isn't matte and is comfortable to wear in tropical weather.

10 Lovely Thoughts

Affordable din yun foundation nila and the coverage is good.
By the way, i like your selfie here. Yun maliwanag yun background. Mas blooming at fresh ka tingnan compared to your previous photos na parang nasa kwarto yata.
Sorry kung multiple comments. Nagloloko yun keypad at internet ko, nagsabay talaga kaloka!

  3. I have been using correctors especially the green one because I find it useful in concealing redness from an annoying zit. This helps me give an even toned base for flawless foundation application. ELF corrective concealer pallete is a good buy for me.
I have to agree with you that Suesh's overall look screams professional makeup. Makes me want to try one of their make-ups but since I still have a lot of foundations to try, I think I'll settle with their correctors first. :)

The amount of product is really good din po para sa price.

Thanks for sharing po!

  6. Whoa! This is so cool! I've never tried Suesh before and I've always been curious about their products. Now I really wanna try their correctors! Your look in this review is absolutely flawless! I noticed the difference especially with the use of the correctors. can't believe that it's only for 450! It's still pricey for me but I honestly thought it would cost 1000 plus per item. Thanks for this, Ms. Martha!

I love your pic here Ms. M lakas naka fresh. 😘

  8. You’re so pretty, TBJ! Ang pretty mo, the foundation looks really great on you. Anyway, I didn’t know that Suesh also have make-ups, I thought brushes lang. Nice that they are venturing into other lines to keep the business sustainable. Thanks for the review, Martha!

  9. Did not know that Suesh is a local brand pala!
