THE VERDICT:

I was packing some of my stuff last weekend to prepare for a home transfer in the next few weeks and I unearthed a couple of contouring powders including Ever Bilena Contour Duos. I recalled that it was one of the most awaited releases of Ever Bilena last year so I tried it out to review for you guys; better late than never!

Ever Bilena Contour Duo is a matte contouring duo that can be used apparently for dry and oily skin. It comes in two shades: Warm and Deep.

First off, packaging is plastic: lightweight, compact, and I like that the cover is clear, allowing you to see the products from the get go.

The shade I used is Deep. Texture is a bit dry. The first time I swatched the product, I found that it struggled to cling onto my skin so I thought this will fare better on oily skin types.

Deep features a mocha brown shade for the contouring powder and light cream for the highlighting shade.

TBJ TIP: For dry skin, you need a cream/liquid product to make the powder adhere to the skin. Apply on top of a cream contouring product, liquid base, or moisturizing primer.

Here's the product on my skin. I used the highlighter on top of the blush and the effect was really subtle. The contouring powder's finish was okay: it can be layered without the cakey look, looks fairly natural, but I don't recommend you layer it too much because of the slight orange undertone. Staying power is okay, as with most powder makeup products.

Ever Bilena Contour Duo is an okay contouring powder for everyday use; I can't say it's amazing, but for the price, it works just fine.
