Serums for your 30s or the Early Tita of Manila

I got some few questions for you:

1. Are you more of a coffee shop person now than a bar person?
2. Do you find yourself eating more and more at Mary Grace and enjoying the vibe of the place?
3. Is your outfit becoming more and more baggy, loose, comfortable, and minimalist?
4. Do you find yourself attending more and more baptism parties and kiddie parties?
5. Most of all, are you in your late 20s or 30s?

If you answer YES to the questions, then you're a certified Early Tita of Manila!

Being an ETOM is not something to be worried about. In fact, I consider myself an ETOM now and I'm liking the fact that I'm more mature with my decision- making and my choices are more practical now. If there's any concern, it would be keeping my skin healthy and strong before I reach true Tita of Manila age.

When you are in your 30s, it's the time to move on to medium strength skin care, one that has more anti- aging benefits and also with a mix of anti- blemish, dullness, and dryness/oiliness properties because some skin in their 30s may still be experiencing light aging signs as the latter I've mentioned.

I've rounded up a couple of my favorite serum that are perfect for ladies in their late 20s and 30s that have a good mix of anti-aging and anti-blemish/dullness benefits.

GREAT FOR: Blemished skin
PRICE: Around P600.00

- I know ladies who are in their 30s who are still experiencing blemishes. The Ordinary's light, gel texture infused with Zinc that's great for acne and Niacinamide that will take care of post- acne marks plus facilitate rejuvenation.

6. ELIZABETH ARDEN CERAMIDE CAPSULES DAILY YOUTH RESTORING SERUM
GREAT FOR: Dullness, lines, roughness, dryness
PRICE: Around P3,000+

- Elizabeth Arden's best- selling anti- aging product features Ceramides, skin- natural lipids that are responsible in keeping the skin balanced. Fans swear by its visible smoothing, firming, and re-texturizing effects to the skin.

  1. Medyo alanganin ako gumamit ng serum kasi sticky sa feeling, but ang benefits naman super okay. May Titas of Davao din kaya? Haha.

  2. Yes to all your questions, specifically Mary Grace. Haha. And it is a relief that you coined the term ETOM because I still could not think of myself as a Tita. But yes, I'm turning 30 this year which means I must also start including serums in my regimen. Would like to try the one from Happy Skin!Which one do you recommend the most? Thanks Ms Martha! :)

  3. I'm not an ETOM..more of a LTOM! Lol! But still I love to try serums especially for blemished skin coz I still get acne at my age. I would probably try Soooperbeaute and The Ordinary.

  5. Hi Martha! I am new here on your blog. I was just searching for the best serums for yes, a certified tita of Manila like me 😊 And I came across your blog. So much great reviews and nice content. By the way I would like to share with you that I am currently using the Happy Skin Ampoule and so far works for me. It lessend the oilyness and less acne per month maybe due to the Salicylic Acid. Anyway, thank you for the list. Might try the Elizabeth Arden soon.

  8. Isa sa mga skincare brands na nirecommend sakin ng friends ko yung The Ordinary so ang dami kong serums nila and buti hindi naman nagreact yung skin ko. Excited akong masubukan yung VNM dahil sa tuwing dadaan ako sa stall nila ang daming tao girl. 💐

I have tried Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Serum, The Body Shop Drops of Light Pure Healthy Brightening Serum, Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Capsules Daily Youth Restoring Serum (thru sampleroom) and It’s Skin Power of 10 Formula PO & VC Effector. I like to try Total Potion of VNM Naturals.

Kaso isa ako sa mga nag aalangan magserum kasi medyo uncomfortable ako kasi ang sticky nya. One time I tried face serum for anti aging and anti wrinkles? Nairritate lang yung skin ko . Nangati talaga sya kaya medyo yakot na ko magserum.
