THE VERDICT:

L'Oreal's Infallible line is one of the best drugstore lines IMO; the products last very long and are quite budget- friendly. Aside from the foundation and powder range, another product that the online beauty world has been raving about are the Infallible liquid lipsticks.

After the initial release, a new set of Infallible Ultra Matte liquid lipsticks is set to capture our hearts (and wallets!); introducing Infallible Ultra Matte lipstick Les Macarons; long- lasting, cute lipsticks with a delectable scent, but tough staying power!

L'Oreal Les Macarons Infallible Ultra Matte lipstick is a new color range inspired by one of the most popular desserts on earth, Macarons. There are 7 shades available.

The applicator is spade- shaped with a hollow on the center that effectively absorbs excess product and transfers it to the other side of the applicator as you apply the product. After owning several L'Oreal lipsticks with this signature applicator of theirs, I realized that that's the purpose of its design!

Here are the swatches. The lipstick has a smooth, semi- creamy consistency and obviously, intense pigmentation. The shades are generally on the pink side.

DOSE OF ROSE

Pale Pink shade with a neutral undertone. Too pale for my skin tone.

INFINITE VANILLA

Milky beige. Too pale too for my skin tone.

GUAVA GUSH

Light peach. This is a cute, summery shade.

PRALINE DE PARIS

Pink mauve. One of the shades in this range that fits almost any skin tone.

MON CARAMEL

Hazelnut beige. I like this nude better than Infinite Vanilla because that washes me out, therefore I recommend this to medium and morena skin tones who want to score a nude shade from the range.

BERRY CERISE

Hot pink shade with berry undertone. My most favorite in the collection!

INFINITE SPICE

Toasted brown with warm peach undertone. This is a nice everyday shade, although I wish it was more spice than peach.

Regarding staying power, hands down, these are AMAZING! Finish is soft matte and it is not drying at all, but stays put the whole day! I wore this the whole day and after a couple of drinks and meals, the fading was very minimal (just on the inner center of my lower lip) that I did not have to retouch the lipstick!

For the color range, I'd give Les Macarons a 6/10 score because at least four out of the seven shades are just okay to me, but I still like it anyway because of the formula. Dang, that staying power and quality-just give me a long- lasting, super comfortable lipstick formula and I'll be happy!
