THE VERDICT:
I think it's going to be lip balm season once again in the next couple of months; methinks it will start this month because of the Amihan season and it will extend all the way to summer.
Tinted Lip Balm is one of my preferred types of lip balm simply because I love having a touch of color on my lips. I recently received some samples of GRWM Cosmetics Tinted Lip Balm, which is one of their best- selling products because apparently, it doubles as a lip mask. I just had to try it!
GRWM Cosmetics Lip Booze is a hybrid tinted lip balm infused with a lip mask feel and effect. Infused with nourishing and hydrating ingredients namely Shea Butter and Vitamin E. It comes in 12 shades.
Ingredients
I'm loving the matte silver bullet packaging; it has some weight to it and the overall quality of the packaging is very good; feels like a high end product.
L-R: Cosmo, Long Island, Tequila
First swipe and it indeed feels a bit thicker than most stick lip balms in the market, but thinner than cream lip balms or the ones that usually come in pots. It has sheer color payoff yet buildable, but the color still manages to look sheer if you know what I'm saying. I like the fruity, bubblegum scent; it's fun and not overpowering.
Cosmo- warm peachy pink shade
Long Island- brick red
Tequila- deep wine red. It's actually dubbed as a color dupe for Clinique's Black Honey
Texture is soft and moisturizing, and it feels juicy and smooth on the lips. Despite the thickness, it doesn't feel heavy at all. However, if you layer it on, you will really feel that there's lip balm on your lips.
Regarding the staying power, as with all wet lip products, it doesn't have noteworthy staying power, but can persist for hours if I don't eat or drink. As for the benefits, I experience moisture and hydration for about 3- 4 hours before having that need to retouch (this depends on how dry your lips are). And since the consistency is mask- like, you can also use it at night as a lip mask/treatment or an overnight lip balm. Sweet! I haven't tried using it at night as a lip mask though as I have a strong preference for lip oil as my night lip treatment, but one of these days, I might just try it.
It's a pretty good lip balm; one of the most moisturizing and I love that it provides moisture, comfort, and smoothness for a considerable amount of time despite how affordable it is. No wonder this is one of GRWM Cosmetics' most popular products! I recommend it if you're looking for a good, affordable lip balm.
