I just watched Angeline Quinto's music video for the song 'Piliin Ang Pilipinas', and I can't help but get teary- eyed while watching it. I just realized, amidst all the negative local news and issues we've been hearing and seeing all day, it is still worth living in the Philippines, and worth being a Filipino.

I've always had my chances of traveling abroad, but I still prefer going around the Philippines. We have the best beaches, astounding landmarks, rich culture, flavorful dishes, and most importantly, we have fellow happy Pinoys to accompany us each day! Isaw, dirty ice cream, taho, fish balls, videoke, turo- turo--WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE ABOUT OUR COUNTRY!?

Nivea and the Department of Tourism recently launched a joint summer campaign that aims to increase national awareness, and encourage all Filipinos to always choose the Philippines, and let the whole world know that it is worth visiting the Philippines.

The event was graced by models featuring Charina Sarte's swimwear collection.

Karen Pamintuan was the host of the event. In here, Nivea gave away Nivea Sun gift packs, and an all- expense paid trip to one of the hottest summer destinations in the Philippines. (which will be determined after the 7 Wonders contest)
