Review: Saizen Face Cleansing Pad

Here's a review on Saizen's Cleansing Pad

PRICE: P85.00
PLACE BOUGHT: Saizen, Robinson's Galleria
OTHER LOCATIONS: May not be available in all Saizen branches

THE VERDICT:

I've been seeing a lot of these lately and thought that perhaps it's an on-the-rise skin care trend. I swear by pricey facial products, especially facial scrubs, but hate the fact that they're causing a dent on my wallet. I bought this in high hopes that it would lessen my bimonthly expenses. But turns out that it's just that--a trendy and fancy tool.

The pad is made of silicone with a tear drop shape to let you scrub hard-to-reach areas on your face.

My problem are these tiny silicone scrubbers. They're too soft, and they're not exfoliating my skin at all.

The hole at the bottom is where you insert your fingers for a firmer grip during use.

It may suit people with hypersensitive skin, or people who are too hygienic, and would prefer to use a cleansing pad for their facial foams. I shall give credit to it for its massaging effect on the skin. But I'm really after the exfoliating effect, so nah, there's nothing really special about it. Nope, not buying this again. I've actually found a better use for it: I'm using it on Denver to scrub his long nozzle during doggie baths.

  4. I don't think this is for me. I'm acne prone, and I'm afraid of anything that may spread acne-causing bacteria all over.

Kahit mura, kakainis pa din kapag hindi nagwork, right?
