Maxene Magalona for Flawless All- Natural Ultimate White Facial
Flawless may be Pink, but they're going Green lately by introducing innovative, and all- natural facials. They started off with Novaexpert for Men, a 100% hypoallergenic, biodegradable, and natural in origin line and now, women will begin to experience the goodness nature has to offer too through the All- Natural Ultimate White Facial, their newest advanced facial treatment.
All- Natural Ultimate White Facial is designed to combat hyper pigmentation caused by blemishes, aging, and the sun. It delivers clarity, radiance, and evenness through the help of Dunaliella Seaweed and Gigawhite. Dunaliella Seaweed hails from the Dead Sea and is rich in almost every amino acid, making it a potent anti- aging natural solution, while Gigawhite is considered as a natural alternative to Hydroquinone. Other actives featured in the products used in the facial are Kojic Acid and Vitamin C.
So I went to Flawless SM Makati yesterday to get rid of my stress buttons (aka blackheads and whiteheads). I think I've already tried most of their preferred facial treatments so I thought of trying out this one.
The initial steps in the facial are pretty much identical to the other facials: There's the cleansing, toning, steaming, pricking, extraction, and laser part (New to Flawless? Check out how their facials go HERE), but there are some new additions-I'll detail them below:
That's not ink stain on my face-that's the Activator Oil, a lavender- scented oil that's supposed to contain all of the actives I have mentioned. My therapist for the day, Yezza, had applied a sheer layer and massaged it all over my face. The scent of the oil iss so soothing, plus I got a pretty decent facial massage too.
Next up is the exfoliator. It's smells exactly like the Activator Oil and it contains micro beads to scrub those dead skin cells away to reveal new skin. It's a gritty scrub so ask your therapist to apply light pressure only as intense scrubbing is counterproductive to the skin. Yezza used a bit too much pressure in the beginning so I immediately asked her to tone it down and she gladly obliged. By the way, Yezza's the queen of pricking and extraction-the way she did it made the whole procedure so, so bearable!
Afterwards, I was treated to the Ultiamte White Mask. It's a soothing mask with intense cooling properties and it totally relaxed my face!
The icing on the cake: Nourishing moisturizer. The scrubbing and mask part can leave the skin matte and a bit dry, and this moisturizer has prevented me from having those troubles by keeping my skin soft afterwards, although it's very rich so if you have oily skin, ask your therapist to use a tiny amount only so your face won't feel 'thick' after.
This facial works for any skin type, especially those with normal and dry skin. Flawless said that 9 out of 10 people who have experienced this procedure said that they immediately saw results after the first session. I did too and that was my skin looked brighter and much more 'alive', if you know what I mean. As for the lightening effect, of course that will take a few sessions. Bottomline, if you're having one of those dull skin moments, All- Natural Ultimate White Facial will shine a light on 'em.
All-Natural Ultimate White Facial is at P1,600.00/session. Please visit FLAWLESS FACE AND BODY CLINIC on Facebook for more information about this treatment.

As much as I want to try facials, I can't because my current skincare routine is working perfectly on me. I don't want to run the risk of ruining it by introducing other products, haha! But seriously, I remember before when I used to have facials, it was such a stress reliever for me. I don't know why, parang along with removing skin-deep dirt on my face, my stress is removed also! :)
ReplyDeleteI want that kind of facial. I never tried one, the only facial that I've tried is the diamond peel. :) I would love to try the one you've done. You look very refreshed talaga, and with that I can say that the session's effective. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a thorough facial treatment. I have yet to try a real facial (complete with extractions). The farthest I've gone is the peel cabin at philosophy. Good thing, too. Medyo takot ako sa concept ng extraction. Kakayanin ko ba?? Hahaha.

Ang hirap talaga maging tao haha! Ang daming needs, especially when it comes to beauty. </3 But oh well, that's what makes us special! :)
ReplyDeleteI regularly go for a facial once every 2 months just to get rid of blemishes and renew my skin. Since I have an oily skin, it has been a task to me to help clear my breakouts (which I have suffered so much since high school). I would love to try this but it's a bit too pricey for me and it might take a few more sessions to visibly see the results.
ReplyDeleteMajorie: You can go for their basic facials first-they're pretty affordable naman. :)
ReplyDeleteJessy: True! :D
Matromao: It's a bit painful and this is coming from someone who can tolerate intense workouts and brazilian. Beauty has a price, I guess! :D
Abegaill: Thanks! Let me know how you like it when you try it. :D
Shary: I agree. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. :)

ReplyDeleteLet me know what you think of this post! :)
