 THE VERDICT:

It's been a month since Sephora Philippines opened its doors to the Filipino e-commerce market and here I am, still going gaga over the stuff I got particularly this newfound cream shadow brand that is way too good! Nudestix is a funky cream crayon makeup brand that specializes in innovative, long- wearing products for the lips, eyes, and complexion; this brand knows cream shadow like the back of their hands because it's one of THE BEST I have tried!

NUDESTIX MAGNETIC EYE COLOR PENCIL LIMITED EDITION #GOBRONZE IN GILT AND IMMORTAL IN DETAIL

Nudestix is a brand founded by sisters/models Ally and Taylor; together with their mom, Jenny, a chemical engineer with a 20- year background in the industry and their know- how in the latest color and makeup trends, they created Nudestix, a collection of easy to use makeup crayons inspired by the sisters' 'no makeup' makeup look. Nudestix believes that every woman should flaunt their faces and a natural makeup look helps bring that out, therefore the brand offers essential nudes, earth tones, and neutrals touched with statement color every now and then to highlight a woman's natural beauty.

Magnetic Eye Color Pencil is a a huge favorite amongst Nudestix users as it's a highly pigmented, ultra silky, lasting cream eye shadow that stays put on oily lids and resists sweat and water. It comes in singles, duos, and trios, and in a mirrored tin can with matching exclusive sharpener. #GoBronze is a limited edition collection in a collector's tin that feature's one of Jessica's artwork (they're a gorgeous family, btw).

The can is compact and a collectible, indeed; I use it to house trinkets that I always misplace such as earrings and rings. The mirrored cover is a nice inclusion, but it has an unusual orientation as it always feels like it's zooming in my face whenever I look in it; takes some getting used to though. The rolled up paper inside contains information about the products, tips and tricks, and a personal note from Ally and Taylor.

#GoBronze features the following shades: Gilt, a pale gold and Immortal, a deep bronze. Both have a semi-metallic finish; these pencils are silky AF, gliding effortlessly with or without hand force. It's very pigmented and the pencil continuously deposits color onto the skin sans the chunky buildup! The shadows dry into a semi-metallic finish that won't budge!

NUDESTIX MAGNETIC EYE COLOR PENCIL LIMITED EDITION #GOBRONZE IN GILT AND IMMORTAL IN ACTION

Immortal used as lid wash, Gilt used as highlighter

Immortal and Gilt go so well together; Gilt is also a nice sheer color on the lids on casual days. Immortal, on the other hand, is best on dark skin due to its slight orange tint; fair skin tones can use Immortal as a liner though. Btw, aside from using it as eye shadow, you can use these as eye liners too!

TIP: Gilt looks so lovely on the tear duct and tear duct fold!

How's the staying power? AMAZEBALLS. Although there was slight fading, it was very tolerable and the shadows still looked good after a 10- hour wear, a walk under the hot sun, running errands for the business, and attending events for the blog in between.

I'm really happy with this new brand discovery and I wanna try out their other products particularly the Concealer Pen and Sculpting Pencil. It's so nice to know that there's an eye makeup brand that's more functional and practical rather than just being trendy. If there's one, new thing that I would recommend you to get from Sephora PH, it's this; it's a great quality, versatile, easy to use, tropical weather- perfect cream eyeshadow that's best for oily lids; it's just on the pricey side, but this will be your go- to cream shadow and it's formulated so well that I can justify the price!

  3. I think I noticed (actually I didn't noticed it) is that the highlight looks so natural! It looks a bit shimmery in the swatch but not when applied in your face. Plus I think that the Immortal is good for morenas as it looks good on you.

I got excited reading "Chemical Engineer" now I think I know what field I should take as a chemical engineering graduate. Sooo excited to pursue my dream and my passion as well!

Quick question can you recommend any dupes for this? Something that is a bit cheaper. Haha. ;)

Regarding the product, yes, the highlighter is very natural, plus it buildable so you can create more dramatic, luminous looks with it. :)

  10. This is a great review, glad I stumbled upon it :) I recently purchased a 3-piece set of Gilt, Immortal and Night. I'm a total noob and been really struggling using Night (black) as an eyeliner because the pencil is pretty thick! Any suggestions? It's thicker kasi than the usual eye pencils right?
