THE VERDICT:
Finally, I’ve had a chance to try this most- coveted eye primer. They say there’s nothing like it, and it’s something that every make-up aficionado should have.

Let’s go in to the details.

It comes in a posh tube with a convenient sponge applicator.

In terms of consistency, this has got to be the most lightweight primer I’ve tried. And it’s so easy to work with! It has a cream color to it, but it yields a translucent finish with a soft, silicone- y feel. Eyeshadow application is a breeze whenever I'm using this one.

So why are make-up lovin’ gals goin’ gaga over this primer? Let’s see the results.

After 8 hours of wear

Indeed, it locks eyeshadows in place. There’s minimal streaking (as seen in the photo), but I love the fact that the it keeps the shades from bleeding around the eye area. In all fairness to it, it’s somehow effective in keeping the colors vibrant throughout wear.

No doubt as to why make-up lovers are head over heels with this eyeshadow primer. If there were a caveat, it would be the tube. The way it’s designed, seems like a majority of the product would be left unused because it’s sticking on the inner walls of tube, and there’s no way for the sponge applicator to scoop ‘em out. And since it’s a best- seller, most sellers (and probably UD itself) are banking on its popularity, hence the crazy cost.

I would love to have it again, but my HG eyeshadow primer, Kryolan Eyeshadow Primer works pretty much the same, but at a fraction of UD Primer Potion’s cost.
