SURPRISINGLY AFFORDABLE. Don't let the Chanel compact fool you into thinking that this girl can only appreciate glamourous goods. Her pretty barbie lipgloss over there? That's Revlon's Super Lustruous lipgloss in Pink Pop.
THE VERDICT:
Pink Pop rose to stardom when it made a special appearance in Blair's wedding episode on Gossip Girl. Since then, GG fans and makeup lovers alike have been wondering what brand and shade that pretty lipgloss is.
I like the sleek and classy acrylic tube of Revlon's Super Lustruous Lipgloss. It reminds me of vintage cosmetics. The packaging is very reminiscent of Chanel cosmetics as well.
It comes with a doe foot applicator. The good thing about sponge applicators is, it helps you control the amount you apply on your lips, whereas brush tip applicators have the tendency to dispense more than what is needed or recommended.
Pink Pop is a milky pink lipgloss with mirror- like shine. However, I find that the lipgloss tends to change its color depending on the skin tone of the wearer. On darker skinned gals, it looks bubblegum pink while on fair skinned gals, it looks darker--somewhat barbie and hot pink, like how it appears on Blair Waldorf. It has a faint floral scent.
Here's Pink Pop on me. It looks fresh, young, and very pretty. It yields a medium to full coverage without the heavy look and feel. I wish its staying power could've been better though, as the color fades away after 30 minutes. :/ If you don't mind retouching your lip color that often, then try this one because the color is just superb.
I highly recommend this to lipgloss lovers out there because for P450.00, its quality is pretty great. :)

i scored one. tama ka, the color fades away in 30 mins. so i apply it over my Colour collections lippie. They are perfectly made for each other because the latter (without lip gloss) dries on my lips awfully. They cure each other's weakness.
