 THE VERDICT:

It's nice that brands are going beyond the usual brow pen-spoolie combo now; nowadays, I've noticed that brow pen duos are becoming more adventurous and economical because they now feature unique and 'worth it' combinations such as Eye Of Horus Dual Brow Perfect; it's a brow pen and tinted gel in one; sometimes, you just want a defined brow, sometimes, you want a barely groomed brow;, or sometimes, you want a full look with medium hold to tame your long, bushy brows; this pen gives you those looks!

EYE OF HORUS DUAL BROW PERFECT IN DYNASTY IN DETAIL

This new product from Eye Of Horus features a tinted brow gel and slanted pencil to give you full, minimalist, or professionally- done brows. It comes in three colors: Dynasty, Husk, and Nile.

 The first end features a pencil with a slanted tip; this one feels sturdy.

 The second tip houses the tinted brow gel; the small spoolie fits almost any brow shape and size.

The gel is virtually clear; the way it works is it just darkens your existing strands, but doesn't fill up any gaps and bald spots; I have gaps within my brow so I rarely use the brow gel on its own; I always use it with the pen and just as a setting product. The pencil, on the other hand, is OMG, it's one of the smoothest brow pens I have ever used; just a few swipes on the back of your hand is all it takes to get this baby up and running, and take note, it styles, defines, and lines continuously, and without force!

So Dynasty is the middle color, but I still find it a bit too dark and chocolate-y for my current hair color so I use it sparingly (this baby is pigmented!).

This product gives full definition, perfect for ladies who have sparse to non-existent brows. The tinted brow gel yields medium hold that's just enough to keep long strands in place comfortably.

Both products are long- wearing, but not waterproof; it's perfect for any casual day and for those with combination skin.

I like this product because of the texture of the pencil and three words: CLEAR BROW GEL; it's a rarity these days, but still very useful at the end of the day! Eye of Horus Dual Brow Perfect is perfect for ladies with thick, long brow strands that need to be tamed and with not so thick but not so thin brows with gaps in between.
