CATRICE PRIME AND FINE CONTOURING PALETTE 020 WARM HARMONY AND ALLROUND CONTOURING PALETTE IN DETAIL
Professional Contouring Palette ingredients
Allround Contouring Palette ingredients
Allround Contouring Palette is a great drugstore dupe for Make Up For Ever Pro Sculpting Kit; it's a contouring arsenal, except that it doesn't come with a blush like MUFE, but it has an extra pan of product. On the other hand, Professional Contouring Palette is a highlighter and contouring powder duo; love the sleek, chic look of both products; they don't look cheap!
Swatches of Allround Contouring Palette:
L-R:
Contouring cream 1- midtone taupe
Contouring cream 2- warm neutral brown
Highlighting cream 1- fair beige
Highlighting cream 2- medium beige with yellow undertone
Illuminator- champagne pearl (Frost)
The creams have a semi- creamy texture, which I like because it doesn't disappear completely when I blend them on my skin, plus the texture helps the product appear prominent on my skin. Pigmentation is medium to heavy. I believe there's only one shade combination for this product.
Swatches of Professional Contouring Palette
L-R:
Highlighter- pale gold (semi- metallic)
Contouring powder- hazelnut brown-taupe (matte)
The powders are extremely smooth and a bit creamy, and I like that they glide well and blend nicely on the skin. Pigmentation is medium to heavy.
CATRICE PRIME AND FINE CONTOURING PALETTE 020 WARM HONEY AND ALLROUND CONTOURING PALETTE IN ACTION
The creams, if blended well, look very natural and accentuate and lift my features effectively. They also don't feel greasy or wet, which makes it perfect for oily skin.
Ideally, you use the contouring palette to set the cream contouring palette and this is what I did in this photo. The combination of the cream and powder contouring products helped my contour last the whole day. The highlighter gives a subtle strobe that's great for everyday wear.
It's nice that Catrice has contouring products to satisfy pros and newbies in contouring; creams are ideal for professional makeup use and powder, for regular use; you can also use both products interchangeably, depending on your needs. Also, the best thing is these products are so affordable, but they perform well! If you're a fan of contouring like me, you better check out these products!

This Comtpuring palette is great for women who are getting used and for those who are becoming expert to contouring. They have great shade selections. As for me, I still have a lot to learn for this makeup trick..the art of contouring.
ReplyDeleteContouring is life right? (Aside from kilay) hehe I just hope that I am pro as you are! I always contour my face to slightly lessen the chubbiness of my cheeks. :)
ReplyDeleteYay! Contouring is not dead and may it live forever! Even though I don't contour that much on the face for a chiseled look, I use it mainly on my eye area and I really look better when I do it. Thanks for featuring these affordable products, although I have yet to find an online shop that carries Catrice.
ReplyDeleteI'm a makeup lover and addict but I confessed that I am not good at contouring! Haha! I love highlighters tho, but contouring is my weakness. I do not now how to contour my chubby face perfectly :( I end up looking negra in some part which is pangit. :( I really want to learn how to contour nicely but I do not know if I'll use a cream based or the powder one. Thank God you introduced this product and from a drugstore brand din. This products seems to be perfect for my needs! Cheap but working nicely on your face. Will definitely try, hopefully you will have a post Ms. M on how to contour properly the face. Hehe. Yung contour mo dito is on point eh, natural yet my dimensions.
Not bad for its prize. Affordable na good quality pa
ReplyDeleteWhat I love about these is they're both affordable <3
ReplyDeleteI too have a round face and have yet to master my contouring skills and I think this product from Catrice will help me do just that. It's less expensive compared to other brands so trying this out won't hurt the pocket.
ReplyDeleteLet me know what you think of this post! :)
