THE BEAUTY JUNKEE SPOTTED: Tony Moly Launches Syn-Ake Line, Snail Line, and Backstage Makeup Line

Hello my dear readers! I wish everyone a happy work week! :D

Let me share some of the highlights from the Tony Moly event I've been to recently.

The event featured two of Tony Moly's resident Korean makeup artists, and the latest (possibly the coolest in my opinion) skin care product innovations and makeup collections by the brand.

Here's a run- down of the latest and hottest products from Tony Moly.

Backstage Self Smokey Eye Eyeliner and Eyeshadow Kit

Live Snail Intense Repair Concentrated BB Cream with SPF 45PA++

The Live Snail line is one of Tony Moly's latest and greatest skin care innovations. The slime from the trail left behind by snails were proven by Korean scientists to have powerful restorative, whitening, and regenerating properties. The slime is being taken from cultured Korean Snails.

So here's what happened during the launch. The launch was held at Chef's Quarter, SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City.

Bloggers.

And more Bloggers. There were also people from the Press, and TM's officers.

Caesar salad. :) There was Bolgnese pasta, but I wasn't able to take a snapshot of it.

Soy Chicken is not bad, and not good either. I'm guessing the plate that was served to us had half- cooked chicken in it. It tasted kinda' raw, at least to me. Oh well. Not really a fan of soy chicken though, so it's fine.

I forgot the name of this beef dish, but I remember how good it was. Marj even told me "Ubusin mo na kaya!" (Finish it up!). And I almost did. Haha. I'm such a carnivore.

Had a great time eating and chatting with Marj. :)

After the sumptuous lunch, Ms. Nadine started the workshop with an introduction of TM's makeup artists, Ms. Yoon Eunmi and Ms. Cha Dohee.

She's talking about the latest skin care and makeup offerings by Tony Moly.

And the workshop starts!

People were passing products around while the workshop was taking place. I took the liberty of swatching a few stuff from the Backstage Collection for my dear readers. :)

Backstage Double Ended Eyeshadow Pen (Steel Gray and Pearl White)

"So yah. Here's what we used on her..."

Wrapping up the event.

Here's the look done on Ms. Daytime. I just realized, I took the shot against the bright lamp behind her. My bad. Oh well. She only had eyeliner, and a bit of bronze eyeshadow with shimmer on her lids. The color used on her lips was the lightest pink from the double ended lipstick.

Here's the night time look done on Ms. Night Time :D. Koreans are fans of the 'dewy look'. This look seems too light for night time makeup. But at least, it looks natural! Night time makeup doesn't have to be drag makeup.

Missing some of my blog friends. :D It was so nice seeing Jheng in the event. It's been a while! I hope to see you on Thursday! :D

Posing with one of the featured Korean Make-up Artists. Anyong Haseyo! :D

Someday, I shall own a train case this huge, and makeup this hefty. :)

Before parting ways, Jheng Santos- Baluyot of Abubots and Marj Sia of The Travelling Heels posed for a pic with yours truly. :)

Here's what I wore to the event. :) I would like to commend my Melissa wedges. They look gorgeous! :D

Went home with the following: Tony Moly mirror, Desk organizer pad, Backstage Self Smoky Collection Eyeshadow and Eyeliner set (2), Samples from the Floria skin care line, and the Live Snail BB Cream, and a live snail..KIDDING!

I love the mirror. Looks very chic. :)

Note pad went to my mom. She loves pads, notebooks, and journals. :)

I always end up not using stuff like these anyway so I gave it up to my mom. 'Cos I'm better off scheduling things inside my head!

I'm lovin' the Snail BB cream, most especially the Backstage Self Smoky kit. I shall post their reviews soon! :D

What would you like to try from Tony Moly's latest releases? Spill! I'd love to know your thoughts. :D
