THE VERDICT:

Long- wearing makeup such as creaseless eyeshadows, waterproof and smudge- proof eyeliners, and lip liners are life savers, but they're such a pain in the arse when it comes to removing them.

It would be very nice if we will hit the sack without any trace of makeup on our faces, but some long- wearing makeups are really persistent!

Slathering cleansing oils/creams on our faces is the fastest way to remove persistent makeup. But on our eyes? I don't think so. I tried it once, and it stung my eyes! Cleansing oils/creams may also leave residues on our eyeballs, and will cause blurred vision. It may also damage our eyes in the long run.

Here's a neat find from Tony Moly that will solve some of our makeup woes.

The Makeup Remover pen is an easy, safe, and convenient way of removing waterproof eyeliners and lip liners.

It's just like your regular whiteboard marker. The felt tip is smooth and soft, and it is soaked in liquid with non- greasy oil. Don't worry, the liquid won't run off the tip and enter your eyes. It's also unscented.

Swatches of Tony Moly's waterproof eyeliner on my hands.

And removed it with the Makeup Remover pen. It's practically gone. A little more scrubbing of the pen, and it will be removed completely.

However, the tip absorbs and retains the color of the makeup. Make sure you wipe the tip with tissue before storing. It also dries up quickly, so you'd have to use the whole thing in no more than 3 months. I've had mine for more than 3 months, and it wasn't as effective as it was during the first time I used it.

I recommend this to girls who love wearing eyeliner. This can also be used as a correction pen, just in case you've had an eyeliner/mascara/lipliner boo boo.

HOW TO USE IT AS A CORRECTION PEN:

1. If you accidentally smudged your eyeliner/lip liner while doing your makeup, carefully run the tip of the Makeup Remover pen over the smudged part.
2. Blot the remaining smudge with a Q tip.
3. Apply foundation or concealer on that part and set with powder.
4. Reapply your makeup.

Overall, I like this thing. It just makes makeup removal fast and easy! How about you? :)
