Last Saturday, I had a mini brow party with my Benefit family at their posh boutique in Greenbelt 5.

It was a pseudo- party 'cos there were only three attendees. Haha. Nevertheless, it was a fun one. Because it's always fun at Benefit!

Anyway, there are two new and cool products for you to check out at the store. Benefit's all geared up for summer! Last Saturday marked the launch of their two newest products that will definitely keep you looking pretty and fab this summer:

BENEFIT SUN BEAM- It's finally here! Joining the best- selling bottled tints and highlighters' roster is SUN BEAM, a golden bronze liquid highlighter for that beach glow all- year round!

GREETINGS FROM CABANA GLAMA KIT- If you can't take a vacation, then fake a vacation! Cabana Glama is your ticket to gorgeousness. It's a compact and chic box that features some of Benefit's best- sellers namely Some-Kinda-Gorgeous mini in Medium, Benefit Hoola Bronzer, Posie Tint mini, and three neutral eyeshadow shades. Who says you need to spend and travel to get that gorgeous beach glow?

On to the Brow Party!

FACT: Benefit has been made famous worldwide by their Brow Bars. Jean and Jane Ford, founders of Benefit Cosmetics, said it themselves that they'd want to have their brow kits with them in case they get stranded in an island! That's why they take brows seriously.

Phoebe, Shen, and I recently had a taste of their brow services. Too bad, I had a chemical peel a day before the brow party, and I was advised by the Beneteam to avail my complimentary brow service on another day. :(

Before your brow session, your skin will be prepped with the following: Milk Cleanser to remove makeup, Oil Cleanser for waterproof and stubborn makeup, Pre- base gel to calm skin, and Soothing Cream to alleviate pain and redness after the procedure.

Benefit uses two kinds of wax on their clients. For facial waxing, they use the gentle Pearlized wax with moisturizers, and for body waxing, they use natural pine wax. All waxes are by Depileve.

With a lot of cheering and enabling from Phoebe, Shen, and I, Nina finally gave in and sat on the Brow Bar for brow grooming. She even challenged Angela to groom her brows in less than 10 minutes, and Angela delivered. If you're in a hurry but dislike being furry, ask the brow specialists to speed up your session. (but of course, it will depend on your brow type and needs)
