ARTDECO is back!

Art Deco is back, and boy I'm so glad. 2 years ago, it was here in our country but sadly, it didn't get the attention it deserved, hence it had to be pulled out. It was brought back by Beauty Bar to the country just recently.

To celebrate their return, ARTDECO held a bloggers' makeup workshop with their chief makeup artist, Carmen Reyes, at Beauty Bar, Greenbelt, Makati City.

No one actually touched the ensaymadas and bottled waters (including myself!) because as you can see, we all can't get enough of the products!

Testers of some of ARTDECO's best- sellers

To those of you who are not familiar with the brand, here's a brief history:

Created in 1985, ARTDECO is Germany's no. 1 makeup brand in perfumeries, beauty salons, and selective department stores, and is also present in Europe and all over the world. This market leader in selective cosmetic market offers a unique variety of products which cover all areas of color cosmetics.

ARTDECO was repeatedly voted as the most popular makeup-brand in beauty salons

Additional various ARTDECO products received national and international recognition through multiple awards

Henlmut Baurecht is the Founder and Owner of the ARTDECO Cosmetic Group. He has been awarded the "A Life of Beauty" award in 2007 for his achievements in the professional cosmetics industry.

The Beauty Top 100th ranking currently lists ARTDECO as 79th of the largest companies in the world.

ARTDECO has makeup brushes too!

Here's a simple look I did. I just used an olive green eyeshadow as a lid wash, and then I've capped the look with a nude pink lipstick.

So many stuff to choose from! And the good news is, ARTDECO is affordable!

Posing with the ever patient and nice Carmen Reyes, chief makeup artist for ARTDECO Philippines. She has graduated from the Cinema Makeup School in Los Angeles, California, and has been doing professional makeup work since 2008. She has worked with various glossies, print ads, T.V. commercials, theatre productions, music videos, weddings, and other special occasions that require makeup. She has also worked with a lot of big beauty brands since she started in the professional makeup industry. Whew, that's a lot of recognitions under her belt. ARTDECO truly made a good choice with her. :)

I've been playing with these babies since I got them, and I must say that indeed, they have superb quality! My current favorites are the eyeshadow primer, eyeshadows, and Lip Stylo, aka Lipstick Foundation. :)

How about you? Ever heard and tried the makeups of ARTDECO? What are your favorites? :)

  13. heiryz: hello there! the lip stylo is around 800+. Will do a review on that this week! :D

curious zealot: hello there! yup, it's matte! It's a good eyeshadow base. :) It's very pigmented, texture is smooth, albeit there's minimal fallout during application. But I find it forgivable because these eyeshadows are only 300+ per pan! :)
