Fendi L'Acquarossa: For The Passionate Woman

I've met a handful of people in my life, but those who made quite an impression on me are the Theatre Actors and Entrepreneurs.

As a former Theatre Actress, I've spent a couple of years around theatre people veterans and newbies alike, and I admire how passionate they could get when they're studying a role and preparing for a scene to a point that they could do both all day, all week, or all month long just to be perfect on stage-they really love their art so much, so much that they could live and die doing just Theatre. With Entrepreneurs, I just love how dedicated they are when it comes to their businesses-they'd drop their egos and wear so many hats at the same time, all for the sake of living their dreams and purpose. Every time I'd hear an entrepreneur talk about his/her business, I always make sure to listen-I want them to rub their passion on me. Theatre Actors taught me patience, and Entrepreneurs taught me persistence.

If meeting all sorts of people is one of your fun objectives on life, be sure to talk with these people so you'd have an idea of what genuine passion feels and tastes like. :)

Daughters of Edoardo and Adele

Like these passionate minds, Fendi started in the same way too. Edoardo and Adele Fendi, husband and wife and true blue fashion lovers launched the brand in 1925 in Rome with a small collection of fur items  and leathergoods, and has blossomed into the fashion icon we know today. The timeless elegance and opulence of Fendi couture has long been capturing women who have a flair for the exquisite for over 80 years.

80 years of moving women forward. For Fendi, Fashion is not merely dressing up: Beyond the dazzling couture lies empowerment, encouraging women to take risks and rule the world one stiletto at a time. Such principles of Fendi are captured in their last fragrance launch for 2013, Fendi L'Acquarossa.

More about this fiery fragrance after the break!

Proud Woman. Strong Woman. Visionary Woman. Fendi envisioned the perfect woman who is as bold  and grand as the color red, as fiery as fire, yet as calm as water. The result is L'Acquarossa, a combination of water and fire wrapped in a vivid and striking red flacon-this fragrance symbolizes power, luxury, grace and above all, passion.

L'Acquarossa is an opulent woody floral. Notes involve Calabria Orange, Bergamot, Plum, Rose, Orange Blossom, Magnolia, Red Cedar, Musk, and Patchouli. The core note is Lantana Flower, a bright red and gold flower that is native to the Mediterranean region. The Lantana Flower is fruity, spicy, and acidulous-it is a flower that is as lush and exotic as its origin.

The simple yet noble bottle is not just an objet d'art-it is a memento of the awe-inspiring architecture of Rome: Crisp, solid, and classic yet laced with contemporary lines, while the black-lined-with-gold cap echoes the iconic Fendi Peekaboo bag.

All these interesting info, I learned when I visited Fendi L'Acquarossa's animation in SM Department Store, SM Aura, which is also the exclusive hub of the said fragrance in the meantime-I was told that it will roll out in other SM stores soon, but if you want to take a whiff of this golden fragrance, please do visit Fendi's animation! They even have a mini wishing fountain in there, reminiscent of the ones in Rome but patterned after L'Acquarossa, of course! You can go there, write your wish on a piece of paper, and drop it in a bowl-what a great idea to fine-tune your mindset for 2014, eh?

Fendi L'Acquarossa EDP is currently available in 75ml (P5,000.00+). Please visit SM Department Store, SM Aura for more information about this fragrance.

Have a passionate Friday! :)

  2. I was given an Elizabeth Arden Red Door before and didn't like it at all. Because of that, I started thinking that perfumes in red bottles are too strong and mature for my liking. I find them intimidating. Hehe.

  3. I am not that impulsive when buying perfumes..maybe because, I get them as gifts most of the time..I only buy one when I really like it so much and no one has offered to give me one yet..lol..
Might just wait this out for a while and check it out once it reach our local SM Malls around here :D

  4. The mini wishing fountain concept sounds cute, would like to make a wish there one time! The fragrance looks really luxe, but the price is way out of my budget. Perfumes are not really a priority for me :)
