THE VERDICT:
One of the behavioral challenges that I was able to overcome (and I'm proud of it) is I always tend to blurt out secrets; Now I think I'm breaking that success today because this is one secret that I should be sharing with everyone: Pink Sugar Our Lil' Secret Concealer. It's an earth shattering revelation, really, to learn that there is finally an affordable liquid concealer that doesn't skimp on coverage and performance. As a fan of liquid concealer, I can say that the best ones are the pricey ones and I've long wondered if there's a way to deliver the quality of these products at a cheaper cost; Pink Sugar did it!
PINK SUGAR OUR LIL' SECRET CONCEALER IN DETAIL
This liquid concealer collection promises medium to full coverage and has Chamomile and Cucumber Fruit extracts to de-puff circles and calm the under eyes. Available in 4 shades.
Light is obviously light borderline white; it's more of a corrector to me than a concealer due to its color; It's a shade that I feel will suit a select number of women only, particularly those with alabaster skin tones. Light Medium is quite a jump from Light: no shade options for women who have skin tones a bit after alabaster, but it starts to become wearable from here. Medium is the most universal shade. Medium Deep suits morena skin types, but strangely, this shade fits those with medium skin tones too. I alternate Medium and Medium Deep most of the time.
Consistency is liquid cream and coverage is opaque that I even use it to cover facial discolorations; Payoff is very even and it's impressive given its price. It is easy to blend and sets after a couple of seconds so blend it properly before it sets because it won't budge when it finally does. Formula is unscented.
This concealer feels like a premium concealer; I can compare it to Zero Kuma Concealer and to some extent, Smashbox BB Eyes Concealer.

I used Medium Deep in this photo; It's opaque, but doesn't leave a heavy feeling and instead of imparting a light, obvious layer of concealer, it adjusts under eye discoloration to my current skin tone, thus it looks more natural. It conceals pretty well without sinking into lines and stays the whole day. My tiny problem with the concealer is it kinda' highlights dry patches; I have dry under eyes so I guess I should be wearing an eye cream with this concealer. Also, I observed that it kinda' stings my eyes when it gets inside (why do I let it end up in my eyes in the first place???); don't worry, it's manageable.
I am very impressed by Pink Sugar Our Lil' Secret Concealer because aside from its premium quality and versatile coverage, the shades are mega friendly to Filipina skin tones and have yellow undertones; just don't forget to put eye cream if you have dry under eyes like me. Other than that, this is too nice for its price!

DeleteWow, that's very interesting to know! Whenever my friends are joking, they always end up telling me i look like a panda because of the dark circles under my eyes. And i dont use concealers because most of it are very pricey and the cheaper ones ive tried are not good enough for me. This is a hope! Haha. Thank you Ms. martha for this review. DeleteI have very dry under eyes and I already have fine lines too. I don't think this will fit me for an undereye concealer but maybe for blemishes, it will look nice! Light looks like a matte highlighter to me

DeleteI dropped by Pink Sugar's counter yesterday and if it was my payday, I could have hoarded a lot! The packaging is really enticing and the products are superb. I just bought 2 lippies in the meantime. This concealer is my next target, together with the eyeshadow palettes. :)

It dries too quickly for me too, and I can't skip eye cream if I use this. It makes my undereye look so dry. Will use it more to have a better opinion.

DeleteMy eyelids and undereyes are oily so i think this will work for me. My zombie eyes requires a concealer but i find most concealers expensive. It's a great thing Pink Sugar came in offering good products in affordable prices.
