 THE VERDICT:

The first time I saw this palette, the contouring- obsessed side of me was so joyful, it wanted to separate from my body, jump outside, and dance out of nirvana. Srsly. I mean, look at BYS Contour and Highlighting Kit-it's a contouring addict's dream come true as it contains huge pans of contouring products in varying shades; contour your face how you want it and when you want it with this product!

This highlighting kit features 2 bronzing powders, 1 contouring powder, and 1 highlighter to sculpt, shade, and highlight your features to perfection. It comes in two color combinations: Goddess 01 and Daring 02. 

Ingredients

Big palette! Palette is made from thick cardboard; it's pretty big and hard to stash away, but I'm kinda' liking its unique size and how it makes me feel like a PRO when I'm using it haha!

The pans are huge; imagine 4 NARS single blushes packed together in a palette; as for the brush, never mind that. :p

Here are the swatches of products:

Bronzer 1- midtone, nutty brown (Matte; For fair skin)
Bronzer 2- medium dark brown (Matte; For medium to dark skin)
Contour- copper-bronze
Highlighter- pale cream

The Contouring powder looks okay on warm skin, but tends to look a wee bit orange on fair skin. 

The Bronzers are my faves: Bronzer 1 can be used to contour the nose area and eyes, and Bronzer 2, for the jawline, temples, and cheeks; thank goodness BYS released matte bronzers in this palette; it's a rarity in the drugstore! 

The highlighter has the right amount of shimmer in it and comes in a neutral shade that will look great on all skin tones.

To be honest, I didn't expect that the powders will have great quality, but I was in for a treat; look at the color swatch: coverage is even, the colors transferred onto my skin smoothly, there's no fall out, pigmentation is great, coverage is medium to heavy, and no powder chunks to be seen. This palette has a set of really nice powders!

Bronzer 2 on my cheeks

Initially, I thought that Bronzer 2 would look ashy on my skin, but it turned out okay; just go easy on because it's pigmented! This is my favorite amongst the four because it reminds me of Benefit Hoola, one of my fave bronzers/contouring powders.

Bronzer 2 and Contour

I use Bronzer 2 when I want a natural- looking contour. I've found a way to use the Contouring powder and that is as a blush; it's a bit orange and it ain't the best thing to use for bronzing as it might make you look burnt.

The highlighter looks nice on the skin, but it needs to be buffed onto the skin so you can tone down the shimmery look.

How's the staying power? It's okay, but like any other powder, it will stay on longer if used on top of a base or with a primer. I'm really enjoying this palette because of its unique size and the products, of course, most especially the bronzers. BYS Contour And Highlighting is one of the brand's best products; grab it if you're into contouring/bronzing and heck, I even think this product can be used in PRO makeup so if you're a makeup artist on a budget, this palette is a steal for you! :D
