The Color of 2017 is...

I used to dislike the color Green, but I've learned to love its positive vibe eventually. Green is the color of positivity, of life, and of the nurturing force that is Mother Nature. I'm pretty happy that this year's official color, according to Pantone, is Greenery!

But why Green?

According to Pantone, 2016 has been the craziest in politics, the environment, and if I may add, relationships. Hopefully, the power of Green will inspire us to reconnect, rejuvenate, and remind ourselves that we are all one, and that we should move forward together and leave no one behind, and find that purpose that's bigger than ourselves.

I'll sure be wearing a couple of Greens in the next few months, specifically emerald green and dark green.

    Actually, I don't own any green clothing before and even now I only have like less than 5. But I come to love green here at our office because our office is patterned with seattle offices with greeneries and it's so refreshing and clean to the eyes. It's good that it's the color for 2017! Yey! Happy New Year everyone :)

    Happy New Year Ms Martha! Actually, green is not my favorite color. I don't have any color green clothes. But I like to see natures especially when travelling. O kaya sa mga mall na maraming grass at plants. Ang sarap tignan, parang nakakarefresh ng pakiramdam.

    Me too. Before I also don't like color green. Pero I had this one friend na pinipilit saken na maganda ang green. Ayun, naconvinced ako since when we try to look around us yes, it's definitely green. 😊

    I like green because it is cooling to the eyes, especially if your eyes are tired(of course not neon green) 😊😊😊

    Like you Ms. M, I don't like green that much. Feeling ko Di bagay Sa akin yung color. Infact I only have 2-3 pcs of clothing in green color. But come to think of it, it is the color of positivity and life. Green for go ika nga. So let's go and achieve our goals for 2017. Happy New Year Ms. M! =)

    I do like green, in a way. It's kinda soothing or relaxing to the eyes and mind. I don't mind wearing green. I do have few shirts/blouse but different shade of green. My mom-in-law loves it so much.a.everything green except for the mind. 😁

    I love green💚💚💚 curtains, bedsheets cover, sofa cover,sa walls and ceilings pero sa damit siguro dalawa tatlo ang ang green na color. Yay! So this 2017 madadagdagan na sila 😊😊😊

    Green!!! At first I hated this color but recently I found myself unknowingly changed my cellphone screen into a green theme. I guess we all need a dose of green in our lives, green food, green environment and green mind? Kidding aside. Anyhow, I'll probably go with you Ms. M in wearing greens for quite some time. ☺

    I love this year's pantone! It's somewhat refreshing. I am a pink kind of girl but I like that Greenery is so refreshing to my eyes.I've also heard before that looking at green color makes you more focused and relieves tiredness. Thus, became my reason to study in the fields of UPLB back in college. :)
