Okay, I really need to stop watching Top Knot vids as well as reading Buzzfeed and Refinery29 articles featuring makeup on Facebook because I always end up buying their recommendations and the newest ones that they cover. HALP! LOL.
Anyway, here's my beauty haul for last month.
Rainbow/Unicorn highlighter was all the rage at the beginning of 2017. I'm into highlighters now and hey, why not wear unicorn highlighter? I purchased one from Kleancolors and it's pretty pigmented to be a highlighter in my opinion. I have to experiment with this first and will review/swatch soon.
Paddle Brush set. Finally! I scored one through an online seller on Facebook and this set is P650.00 only (whoa!). Feels and looks like the ones you can buy in Divisoria, but I ain't complaining with the price, plus I didn't have to go all the way to Divisoria to buy!
Deciem is a Chicago- based skin care brand and they're taking the world by storm with The Ordinary, a high performance skin care line with potent, cosmeceutical ingredients at an affordable price. I got Moroccan Argan Oil, Caffeine Solution + EGCG Eye Serum, Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA Moisturizer, and Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% YASSS. Trying these out now; will report on my observations soon.
Finally, I got meself a bottle of Beauskin Invisible Pores Facial Foundation, which, according to a lot, is one of the best long- wearing foundation. Hmmm...big claim. Let's find out. :)

ReplyDeleteMy recent purchase is a whitening deodorant for the underarm and it's like a toner coz it's liquid and cotton is used to put in your underarm and even though I just took a bath when I wiped the cotton to my underarm, woah there is still traces of dirt just like with our face when we just washed and put toner on our face. Hopefully this will be effective.
ReplyDeleteI am not a fan of makeup products in Divisoria, because I know they aren't the real thing so it might damage my face or what. I just braved myself on buying brushes, because why not?! It's cheaper and I can buy so much more than buying brushes in Sephora lol! Just clean the brushes very well before using, you know just to be safe. Aa for the unicorn highlighter I am curious about that as well, I am too loving highlighters now a days and I am iching to try the unicorn highlighter!
ReplyDeleteWaaaaaah! Unicorn highlighter 😍 I wonder if it will work with our Morena skintone. About the Beauskin foundation, I thought it is a fake product that is just popular. I found some online and Quiapo. 😱 I have a paddle brush from Ever Bilena. I must say that applying liquid foundation with this is a breeze! Especially when I am in a hurry. I just have a hard time cleansing it. Anyways, excited for your reviews

Nakakita ako niyan sa Divi and tnry ko din pero parang mababali siya sa lambot. lol hope it's not like that. I think its way way better naman minsan yung mas mahal although mas mura talaga sa divi at tiyagaan lang sa paghahanap ng good qua. Btw, My recent purchased was the peeling gel from Watsons. I just discovered it through reading blogs din and I love the feeling it gives me after using it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your recent beauty hauls Ms. M. I got these Dr.Morita sheet masks, the one with Hyaluronic Acid. I got it at SM BF. I was having sleepless nights because I had to take care of my mom who got sick in the hospital last week during Holy Week. No worries because she was discharged already. Anyway, I tried these, and as soon as I put them over my face, I heaved a sigh of relaxation. They were so calming. I never realized that the skin on the face can get tired and tense too. After using them, my face felt hydrated for days, and I don't look like I didn't sleep at all(though I badly need one).
