May's quite a challenging month both personally and professionally; I had to face a couple of problems in the business and didn't have enough time to read up on travel tips for Melbourne and Brisbane (it's an issue for me; I make it a point to research before I travel because the last thing I want to do is waste time figuring out things that could have been figured out prior). But thankfully, everything fell into place and the honeymoon turned out amazing and the problems in the business have been settled.


Which meant I barely had enough time to do my face last month due to demands. Most days, I would just go out with only skin care, brows, and cheek tint on; thank goodness my skin behaved well last month! Here's my small list of beauty favorites last month that I used practically almost every day!

1. B. By Banila Co. Lip Draw Matte Blast Stick

- A soft, buttery matte lipstick with a semi- matte finish, great pigmentation, and moisturizing finish. I used this lipstick only during my OZ vacation and it didn't make my lips dry! Also, this shade is called Rose Marsala and it's a beautiful muted rose shade!

2. Sgt. At Arms Whitening Deo Spray

- A product by Fairness and Flawless, the sister company of Colourette. This is their best- selling product and I've been using it ever since I tried it. It's a deo spray that deodorizes without drying the skin and I also noticed a bit of lightening on my pits. Promising! I'll continue using it and hopefully, get to blog about it!

3. Kiehl's Daily Reviving Concentrate

- A daytime oil serum made with a potent cocktail of oils that help revive the skin. It's a dry oil that moisturizes effectively and has no greasy feel. I used this a lot in Australia, especially during the day; it kept my skin moisturized during sunny winter days!

4. VNM Naturals Argan Oil

- My night time skin saver in Australia. This rich, moisturizing oil kept my skin from drying up big time during cold, cold nights.

5. Vaseline Lip Therapy

- A lip balm that's circulating heavily online lately. I have tried the range and it's very good! It's the lip balm I've used in my entire OZ trip and my lips stayed supple and soft despite the harsh winter weather.
