Food Businesses That I Love Supporting This ECQ + A new PayMaya app built for SMEs!

Whenever I feel like ordering food just because we're not in the mood to cook or I am craving for a sense of normalcy by recreating a restaurant experience through take outs, I always make it a point to support small businesses.

As a small business owner myself, I know the struggles, the hopes, and the dreams of every SME owner that's why I prioritize supporting them; SMEs enrich and support a community and every single item you purchase from them truly counts because you help support not only a business, but the livelihood of many as well.

Here are some small businesses that I have been avidly supporting this entire ECQ. Check them out!

And if you have a small business yourself, read until the end and discover PayMaya's new app that makes cashless transactions faster, easier, and more tailor- fit for your business!

IN THE MOOD FOR BAKING

- Mama Dins, as fondly called by her family, was born to cook. She is the aunt of my best friend since college and in all the times that I joined their celebrations and sampled her cooking, I don't remember leaving their parties ever without a full stomach and a huge smile on my face.

The ECQ has indeed put her in the mood to wear her apron and unleash her baking skills to share not only with her family, but to everyone as well. YASS, MAMA DINS, YASS.

In The Mood offers cookies, Yema De Fruta, ensaymada, Basque Burnt Cheesecake, and the crowd favorite Gooey Chocolate Cake. Must- try is the Gooey Chocolate Cake!

In The Mood is located in Quezon City and accepts cash transfer via bank and Paymaya; they also deliver around Metro Manila. Visit IN THE MOOD FOR BAKING on Facebook to place your orders.

2. BALAI ILOCOS

- Heirloom recipes are always the best and this is the foundation of Balai Ilocos' dishes. Owned by the family of my college best friends, Balai Ilocos is one of the fairly popular Filipino restaurants in the south.

Balai Ilocos Di Makakalimutang Mechado truly lives up to its name and it's my number one recommendation; do you guys know how much I love this?! I can eat it 24/7!

Other must- try dishes are Classic Bagnet and Binagoongang Bagnet.

I must warn you though; prepare to eat cups upon cups of rice!

Balai Ilocos is located in BF Homes Parañaque and they accept bank transfer and PayMaya. They deliver around Metro Manila. Visit BALAI ILOCOS on Facebook to order.

CIELIN'S

- Cielin's is pretty much a legend among people living in the south. True southies know that when you ask "Where can you get good chocolate cake in the south?", the answer is Cielin's.

A quaint bakeshop located in Parañaque, Cielin's remains as one of the go- to bakeshops for delicious cakes, most especially their signature Chocolate Cake. To be honest, I am not a huge fan of chocolate cake, except this because it's really good!

Cielin's is located in BF Homes Parañaque and BF Resort Las Piñas and accepts bank transfer. At the moment, items are for pick- up only. Visit CIELIN'S on Facebook for more information.
