THE VERDICT:

K-Palette's first version of this lip tint stick was a huge hit that they had to come out with a follow up; this time, it's matte and I'm up for it because I've always loved matte finishes for my lipstick.

If you're looking for a matte lip tint in a handy form and will leave your lips lightly stained and pretty at the end of the day, not to mention feels comfortable, try this!

Ingredients

K-Palette 1 Day Tattoo Lasting Lip Tint Stick Semi- Matte is a bolder, more pigmented version of its sister formula. It comes in 4 shades and charged with beauty essences namely Ceramides, Sodium Hyaluronate, and Shea Butter for soft, comfortable coverage that feels just like lips.

It looks just like the first Lip Tint Stick Glossy so it will be very easy to confuse the two in your makeup kit. Maybe a rose gold bullet for this version would be a nice differentiator?

Here's a close- up of the product: texture is soft and buttery-it glides on well and evenly leaving little to no loosely covered areas, which results to a cleaner, volumized look plus it makes my lips appear smoother too. Finish is semi- matte: it has a bit of shine in the beginning, but it gradually goes away as the product settles. Lip Tint is unscented.

MAUVE CRUSH

Deep rosy mauve. One of my favorites

ORANGE SUNSET

A terracotta red shade. This is so nice on morenas and a softer, more daytime- friendly alternative to the classic red.

PAPRIKA RED

A warm neutral red.

WOODY NUDE

My third favorite. This chocolate beige shade is great for morena and tan skin tones. I love the shade because it makes me appear even more morena.

As for the staying power, this product is something that needs to be retouched because the formula still has some slip in it, therefore it's prone to transferring and fading; this is why I don't recommend that you wear it while wearing a face mask because it will transfer. At least it leaves a hint of stain though.

But if you like any of the colors and you want to sport it even when in a face mask, I suggest leave the product on for a couple of minutes before wiping off or blotting so it can leave a hint of stain on the lips.

One great thing about this product is it's very comfortable; sometimes, I feel like there's nothing on my lips and the moisturizing ingredients keep my lips from flaking during wear too.

K-Palette Lasting Lip Tint Stick is a hygienic, handy matte lipstick/lip balm/lip tint in one; it's a good product with a versatile formula and a comfy matte lipstick that's great even for non- matte wearers.
